As it stands for Saturday Bishop Luers is not competeing and ISSMA. Instead they have chosen to go to Showstoppers in Orlando. ISSMA rules state though that if the officials slot you for a time at ISSMA State, and the choir decides to pull out or drop, they are not allowed to be qualified for state the upcoming year. Good luck to everyone on Saturday.

Where are the ISSMA rules posted?

I think he was talking about Carmel beating NC now as in they will beat them at ISSMA.

That is what i meant, sorry for not being clear... Anyway... It will be fun to see what happens at this competition. As sad as i am to say it, i don't think that HN is a contender this year for GC or Second place, Possibly third, Depending on how everyone does... Damon has been saying that this is the strongest Field we've had at state, and i Agree, i'm very excited to see what happens, and i'm sure i'm going to have to spend my left arm on a low quality video from state....

And yes,

Where does the money from this contest go? and who are the Judges???

i just talked to one of my friends from luers he said that yes they are going to orlando and not state. he also said that issma said no subsitutes, so it looks like there will only be 11 mixed choirs?

How many adjudicators will be at this competition?

Are they the same for both Single-Gender and mixed?

Where does the money generated go to?

Good luck to all of the groups that are competing this coming weekend.

I will be anxiously waiting to see who won after I watch the Big 10 games!

According to the "Bishop Luers Performing Arts" page and a girl that I talked to from Bishop Luers both said that they are not going to ISSMA State but they are going to Showstoppers in Orlando, FL. What does this mean for the empty spot that Bishop Luers is leaving? Is it filled or not?

I think North Central is going to be grand champ, and im pretty sure Carmel and North Central never went against each other cause Carmel was at North Central

I think it will be between Huntington North and North Central. They are both really amazing but there shows are just so different. They are both very interesting and entertaining shows. Good luck guys!

I think the top 3 are a total toss up if you're just looking at results right now...

Franklin Central has beaten Carmel,
NC has beaten Franklin Central
and Carmel has beaten NC now...

Whoever shows up the hungriest will take it... In my opinion it will end up like this.

GC: Carmel (Visuals, band)
1RU: North Central (Vocals)
2RU: Franklin Central
3RU: Lawrence Central
4RU: Plainfield
5RU: Dekalb

Although, From what i've seen this year, My opinions on the groups levels would be

1: North Central
2: Franklin Central (very very very close)
3: Carmel
4: Ben Davis
5: Lawrence Central
6: dekalb

Just Curious how does this work? I see people do it all the time. Are you saying HN and NC 1 & 2 and FC and BD 3 & 4 or are you saying HN or NC at #1 and the other doesn't place?
