Just because most here are high schools does not give reason to argue all the time.

I wasn't giving reason, merely stating a simple fact- adolescence is believed to last far past the point of legal adulthood. The high schoolers on here are for the most part, acting age-appropriate. When someone makes a general comment about "everyone needing to grow up" to people who are mostly still IN that process, I feel compelled to respond. Especially when the number of people involved in this argument was quite small, and did not merit a general comment about the immaturity of this community.

These kids ARE growing up, but it doesn't happen overnight, and nobody should expect it to. I would have thought parents would be able to respect that enough to approach the behavior in a constructive manner rather than stooping to it.

I am just asking a question here, where I just wanted a simple answer. I am not trying to cause drama, if anything the person who is complaining about me asking this question is causing drama, I am sorry that you think I was causing it, but I was just asking a simpkle question, and I just needed a simple answer 'Yes' or 'No'. and I got it. Thank you

How about we drop this. Little posts like what you just made instigate more.

Everyone chill, and bring this bickering to the PM.

Go to the person's profile, click "Send Message" and take it there, and to see if you have a message, look at the top right of the screen under "Help" and it will say 0 New MEssages or 1, ect.

Just because most here are high schools does not give reason to argue all the time.

How about having a little faith in the host school?

I would like to thank you, and say it is much appriciated to receive such praise. ^.^ It was definately a challenge hosting all day but, with will and determination we got it done. I'm sure all intentions you had were meant for good, and I'm glad that someone would rise up as such. I meant no contempt of any degree, I'm just attempting to diffuse any unwanted possible situations that might arise. ^.^; But again I say: Thank you.

Your extremely welcome. We are considering hosting a competition at Nitro next year and I only hope that we can pull it off with the same level of professionalism that you guys did last weekend. Your competition was well coordinated. Everything from the seating, staging, lighting, sound, pricing, etc. I drove four hours just to watch this competition and I'm very gald that I did. Congrads Fairfield on doing such an amazing job.

I just think that you guys did such an incredible job hosting this competition that you don't deserve this type of treatment. Your director was extremely careful in hiring well qualified judges for this competition. I seriously doubt that he would ever give special treatment to ANY competing choir.

Hey hey, as far as we all know it was just a question. We should take it as such, with a simple answer, eh?

How does petty high school drama like this even get started? Some people seriously need to grow up!!!

I think it starts because the majority of the posters on SCC are IN high school.

And Aaron, I totally appreciate your post- everytime someone posts a complaint about people discussing.on a discussion board, I tear out my hair.

Fyi Clinton did not get to preform friday night on the stage. They brought there set in the school and that was it.

The fact that you guys had to defend yourself on this issue is upsetting. How does petty high school drama like this even get started? Some people seriously need to grow up!!!

I was there before and after Clinton had dropped off their equipment, and I don't believe they got to perform anything on stage. In fact, I'm pretty sure that the stage was not even finished at the time of their visit!

Thank you very much for the compliment. We have worked very hard this year, just like every other group. I am shocked at the posts on the Crystal Classic since Sat. night. There was amazing talent there this weekend from many groups. I applauded each and every one. They deserved it. But I am not proud of what I am reading. It has cheapened the whole thing. All of you should be so proud of all that you have accomplished this year. There is all this bickering about who applauded who, and should you stand, should you not. Do you realize the right now, there is a show choir, fellow brothers i might add, who has LOST members of the group. GONE! In a flash.....You never know when something could happen to you and your group. Stop the bickering! You should feel lucky if you were able to see all the talent this weekend and extremely proud of yourselves if you competed! You are all so fortunate to be alive and able to even do this. AND SOOOO TALENTED!
Good Luck this weekend at states and looking forward to seeing you and your kids again!

it's not criminal to disagree. these boards are present specifically for the purpose of discussing show choir. if we aren't to exchange opinions over matters like applause and quality of performances here, then where else?

i do agree that people can be very juvenile in posting their disagreement, and that is certainly not something i support. however i feel that the occasional aggravating post is something that should be tolerated in place of having SCC become a censored site without any semblance of honesty.
