No Way Burbank wins Patrick bet you a plane ticket to Los Al next year!! Which you and Bryan should totally go to this year. Have heard that Clinton is attending.
So this competition is rediculously stacked! 15 mixed groups that would normally make finals--and we aren't even counting the women's groups! Should be rediculous (rediculously amazing)!
Since it is a month away, I'll wait to make predictions. But I'm totally cheering for the two Southern groups!!!
It's been brought to my attention that three of the choirs in the women's division are actually performing on Friday night - not on Saturday with the rest of the groups - so the schedule has been updated to reflect that. I am assuming the reason for this split is simply because there wasn't time to have them perform on Saturday with everyone else; the competition is already scheduled to run from 8:00am until 11:00pm (and that's with strict 25-minute setup/perform/teardown times and very few breaks in between!). It's great to see so many wonderful schools participating, but it seems like an awfully packed day (especially for the judges who will be there for the entire marathon) with very little room for error. I know some Midwest schools do women/prep divisions concurrently with the mixed groups at a different location on campus, but I'm not sure if Wheaton has the facilities to accommodate that. The upshot here is that everyone gets to watch everyone else should they choose, but there are going to be some awfully tired heads at the end of this day.

Hahaha We totally would but 1. I'm still poor and don't have a job. and 2. I'm going to be in South Carolina for my choir tour
