Do we know who the judges are? The show choir world needs a scoreboard so the audience could see all judges scores.

This should be a good competition. I'm really excited to see Grosse Pointe South. Best of luck on the 16th to all the competing groups.

Grosse Pointe South coming back onto the scene can only mean great things for the show choir world.

The finals situation confuses me. lol. But my four championship schools are:

Clover Hill
Loveland
Piqua
Hamilton

We beat Olentangy at Findlay, and we've improved alot since then. Trust me, our show was 'ship-wrecked' then. (People who have seen are show would get that joke..)

The finals situation here at Teays is pretty simple and it's comparable to the Crystal Classic which Hamilton competed at last year. So basically with the above schedule, 4 of the Tier I groups will advance on to Tier I finals. 3 of the Tier II groups will advance for Tier II finals. They're separate.

In terms of your projected top 4 Tier I groups, I'm not sure I totally agree. While Hamilton has for sure improved leaps and bounds, I'm sure every other group has also improved a bunch. In general I would probably say:
Clover Hill
Piqua
Loveland
Olentangy
Although I would also consider Capital to be a contender since they are coming off a GC. Grosse Point is also a wild card since they haven't competed in a while. Hamilton is definitely in the mix and they do have a later time slot, but it will need to be an exceptional performance against exceptional choirs.

And shipwrecked? So... sea theme? Care to share?

Olentangy wasn't at Findlay.

Grosse Pointe is going to this? I haven't seen their name in the competition circuit for awhile!

They will also be attending Norwell next weekend, so perhaps based on that competition we should get a decent feel for how they could stack up here.

Yes they are from what I've heard. AI believe Center Grove's director went there.

Oh nice that is really exciting. Hopefully they start getting back out there more now.

Grosse Pointe is going to this? I haven't seen their name in the competition circuit for awhile! Does anyone know if they are still choreography by Andy? If they are anywhere near as good as they used to be then the finalist will be

Clover Hill
Grosse Pointe
Piqua
Loveland

It would be close between Clover Hill and Grosse Pointe for GC... but I'm not sure what Grosse Point is even like nowadays.
