jacob in chicago with burbank at a secretly disclosed location.jk.but not saying anyways. ahah i felt like a news anchor giving my location.

actually this is my first midwest competition/national competition that doesnt involve the words FAME or SHOWSTOPPERS. i'm very excited to be here, soak up what the midwest has got to offer, and support my neighbors - of Burbank, Cali.

as all of us said, we enjoy meeting new people!!!

haakon or myself will have laptop in hand to post recent results as the day progresses.

GOOD LUCK ALL, AND HAVE A GREAT COMPETITION!

'ello all! We finally arrived at our hotel about 10 minutes away from Mundelein.

After a great evening of shopping/eating on the Magnificent Mile (?) in Chicago, we're just shakin' in our flip flops to compete tomorrow. Just kidding. We're not that Californian, i guess.... or something.

Good Luck to everyone tomorrow, and please dont be afraid to chat with us tomorrow. We love meeting new people!

I think I've heard of Dallas Center, but never heard of Minburn. We (D-port) are at the bottom of Iowa's "nose". Were like its booger. Right on the river.

Davenport = Booger... I love it.

We'll be driving in separate cars to Des Moines and then asking directions.....

Okay......we're flying into O'Hare Friday afternoon. Equipment going by air freight.

btw, a few of us have lots of wonderful Iowa relatives with roots going back over a century.....
