Why is it just silly? Because this is supposed to be a representation of Indiana show choir. I've never been to an Indiana competition that didn't have some sort of finals.
And to further that point, I'm not sure where you're going, but I haven't been to an Indy competition that didn't have Single-Gender finals, or at least had the winner perform during finals time.

IMO, that is where the real fun is. In this comp. there is no small and large mixed...it's just Single-Gender and mixed. but could you imagine if there was a finals? OMG, the contest probably wouldn't end until 2 or 3 a.m. lol

Im going to have to agree with that! Plainfield tied Zionsville for best vocals at mooresville this year and their show has improved leaps and bounds since Ben davis look for them to sneak up there this year
