Ya Counterpoints have energy, but as far as vocals..Carmel and Warren both succeed North Central, so thus since 60% are vocals in the scores..North Central got 2nd and Carmel got 1st.
A) You really think the Descants are THAT bad? I almost agree, however I believe Dekalb, and Ben Davis should have made top 6. and Dekalb should most definitely be higher than 6th place.
I don't mean to be rude but Ben Davis cut their guys and girls number, and didn't dance for almost half of the opener. I know it has been a rebuilding year for them. The judges really seemed to like more of a classical approach as evidenced by the results. Also, Dekalb has a great show, they beat us badly I believe at the Ohio Valley Invite a few weeks back. These set of judges just seemed to like our (Plainfield's) show a little bit more. It was a thrill for us to finish in the top 6 and top 3 visually especially considering some of the stuff we have been trough this year. It was really great to finish my career with 5th RU at state. Everyone had great shows and i can't wait to watch them again. Also Anderson's opener is so tight.

I think the descants are the shizzle!! im not to sure i agree with what his person said bout yall not being in the top 6! yall got 2nd didnt you

anderson was awesome! i loved your opener...i loved everything!
both you guys & castle deserved higher spots in my book.
If it means anything, i really excpected anderson to place nuch higher. i heard you guys earlier at ben davis and thought the same thing then. i love your set! Your opener is constantly playing over and over in my head!

Anderson: I thought you guys took risks and were so "out of the box." I want to commend you and your director on that. "Sweet Dreams" was weird in a good way, if that makes sense! LC will see you guys at A-Town Showdown!

I just want to give a personal congrats to ALL the groups who MADE it to state finals this year! Everyone was absolutely phenomenal!!
But..to NORTH CENTRAL, you guys have been my favorite show choir since the very first time I saw you perform. Although the final scores were not what I was personally expecting, you are STILL my favorite show choir!!
