I remember writing Haiku's in middle school!! I used to love them. Okay so Adam's hopping on the bus with GCS, Chris is driving over for prelims....now all we need is to swing by and pick Mr. Peters up and we'll be good to go.

This competition will be fun...and very interesting.
Edit: Chris Stolba...I just recently read your signature after I posted this and saw that Waukee is no where to be found...do you have some explaining to do or did you just spontaneously decide to take a risk and erase Waukee?

There are a few reasons why waukee is not found on my Sig.

1) I was going to go cause that is was the closest (and cheapest) to see GCS, and now that I will be going to Omaha north with the awesome Jorge and Ben I don't go
2) I WAS going to go to Mundelein that weekend instead
3) This particular weekend is the last weekend my boyfriend has weekends off (usually he has sunday/mondays off) so we are going to either go to Chicago, Davenport or something..
4) Jefferson is closer.
5) I am becoming flat broke

you'll get enough of me at school next year. But I wish you guys the best of luck! And who knows... plans ALWAYS change...

Not a bad or good comment...just an observation.

Would anyone by any chance have the middle school show choir schedule?

I have to support my Westside Connection.

Aliyah, it's still a 5 hour ish drive, so you will probably be leaving around 8 or 9.

Thanks for answering my question, Adam. I knew we were going early... I'm just glad it's not 3 or 4. I sure all in GCS would agree! ;)

So are you riding with us or going from Luther? Are you bring anyone else?

Perhaps they were confusing Ankeny with AMES, which is further up I-35 (but still not quite 45 min.!)

I probably was thinking of Ames. But I really have been to Ankeny quite a few times I'm a loser...whatever haha. So, Xavier is coming to Waukee now? That's cool.

If you take I-35/80 from Ankeny around to the Hickman Road (Hwy 6) exit it might take 30 minutes to get to Waukee from Ankeny. I'd expect it to be right at 5 hours.

P.S. Ankeny is only like 15 minues from downtown Des Moines.

ha- I was gonna say, I must be making good timing when I drive to Ankeny!

Looks like my perception of time is way off
P.S. Mr. Temple....I just read the first quote in your signature and I can't stop laughing.

I had to go back and see what it was. That's a Demetri Martin quote. If you've never seen his standup you should check him out. He has a very peculiar view of the world, but I think he's brilliant.

Edited due to a fragment sentence...can't have that.

It takes me 4 hours to get to Ankeny when I go there...lord knows I've been there quite a few times. And Ankeny is about a 45 minute drive North of Des Moines and Waukee is probably a 20 minute drive West of Des Moines. Therefore, Adam is correct, we should be expecting about 5 hours...then again we'll probably have a bus driver that goes 40...so 6 hours. Good lord.

I can't believe we actually have a time this year that is not in the middle of the afternoon! Yes! Hey, GCS folks, when are we leaving?

Waukee people... are any of you on here?

After we had to bow out of Sioux City East's competition, this weekend might become our overnight for this season. So we definitely are excited about it
