My Predictions:

Grand Champion: Sullivan "Singers"
1st Runner Up: Onalaska "Hilltopper Show Choir"
2nd Runner Up: Eisenhower "Elite Energy"
3rd Runner Up: Troy-Buchanan "Express"
4th Runner Up: Crete-Monee "Cavaliers"
5th Runner Up: Sauk Prarie "Executive Session"

Vocals: Sullivan
Choreo: Eisenhower
Show Design: Sullivan
General Effect: Onalaska
**I am going out on a limb on these but I have a feeling that Sullivan is going to be prepared for this competition.

Though i also am HOPING that Sullivan has an outstanding year, i must say my predictions are quite a far cry from that.

GC - Eisenhower (Choreo, band)
1 RU - Sauk Prarie (vocals)
2 RU - Onalaska
3 RU - Troy
4 RU - Sullivan Singers
5th RU- Crete Monee (i REALLY hope they do a lot better than this, but i have to go with what i think i know)

GC - Troy
1ru - Onalaska
2ru - Eisenhower
3ru - Crete Monee
4ru - Sullivan
5ru - Homestead

I really don't know, this is going to be a good competition.

No Ohio groups? Isn't that kind of weird? Twinsburg usually always goes here don't they?

Oh nvm, I see Beavercreek is going.

It's so hard not making predictions when seeing some like this. (No offense.)

Twinsburg attended Onalaska, not Mount Zion, in 2005 and 2006. perhaps that's what you're thinking of, because i don't recall any Ohio groups attending last year nor many going the year before (besides Marysville).

(sidenote - Obviously I have nothing but respect and admiration for the Crete Monee show choir program. Their effort on stage is above and beyond. Mt Zion is lucky to be one of their performance venues!! There was absolutely no malice intended. If you were here last year, Crete Monee had a number of incidents that needed medical attention and the Mt Zion nurse handled it all admirably.......I would have never in my wildest imagination thought that making a statement about making sure our nurses were gonna be ready this year, would have been taken so wrong. I am truly sorry and I promise to never make another tongue-in-cheek comment about Crete Monee ever again. I am just very glad you Wisconsinites are not getting testy about having colder weather than Illinois!!!! ) Certainly happy it is our senior year........(love ya, Ana!!)

Okay, just so we're all clear...

Mark's post was not a snide or rude comment directed at Crete- it was just a friendly joke. He wasn't being "down on you" or "hating". He even put a winky face in there!!

While I think everyone can appreciate Crete's enthusiasm, it's a BIT misdirected- there's obviously a lot of respect for what everyone at Crete does each season, but that can fade rather quickly if your group is poorly represented on here.

AND YES I COMPLETELY UNDERSTAND THAT BUT ITS THAT WE DONT TAKE THINGS LIKE THAT LIGHTLY BUT I MEAN IM SORRY IF IT WAS ALL AN MISUNDERSTANDING BUT IM OVER IT IM JUST HAPPY THAT THIS COMPETITION SEASON IS ABOUT TO START THATS ALL BUT I REALLY DO WISH ALL THE GROUPS THE BEST AND I HAVE AND ALWAYS WILL HAVE RESPECT FOR THE OTHA GROUPS ALONG WITH MT.ZION I LUV YOU GUYS BUT NO HARM TAKEN AT ALL N I GUESS I WILL SEE U GUYS THEN AT COMPETITION THIS IS GOING 2 BE AN EXCITING YEAR!!! ;)

I think he's referring to Crete-Monee...but not as a negative thing. I think he's just observing that recently, a lot of Crete-Monee kids have started to post on this site.
