Hi,

For any of you who were not at the Brea Classic last year, let me explain. We take all of the competing groups and combine them by competition success over the past few years, by size of group, and in some cases by the request of the director in order to put four similarly competitive groups together. The goal is to give every group a fighting chance to WIN their division. Every group earns a ranked trophy in their division, and all 12 groups compete for the MUSICIANSHIP and SHOWMANSHIP plaques (top score of the night amongst all 3 divisions.) Good luck. Dave Willert

I'm very excited for this competition. It is Soundvibes' first competition of the year, and I know all of us are very excited to perform.

This is the order for Brea Olinda. There are three divisions (A, B, and C). The competition starts at 6:30.

Division A-

Serrano "Vocal Pointe"
Mark Keppel "Aztec Singers"
Rowland "Infusion"
Glendora "Royal Stewarts"

Division B-

ESGVROP "Celebration"
Chula Vista "The Main Attraction"
Diamond Bar "Marquis"
Los Alamitos "Sound FX"

Division C-

Hart "Sound Vibrations"
Burbank "In Sync"
Arcadia "Chanteurs"
Burroughs "Powerhouse"

The judges are:
John Wilson (Music)
Tom Kessler (Music)
Doug Newton (Music)
Doug Kuhl (Performance)
Kurt Nielsen (Performance)

Competition is roughly split 60% Music and 40% Performance.
