DeKalb---amazing as always. your opener was great and i understand that you most recently learned your novelty number. it needs quite a bit of work, but congrats on bringing it as far as you did so soon. you very well desreved grand.

Teays Valley---love the flash of your show...always very entertaining. i must say that you guys improved greatly at finals, and boy was that a magnificent show you put on. i was a little unsure of your placing at prelims, but finals i had no doubt you guys were gonna place wonderfully.

Franklin Central---loved your choreography...a little fixing here and there, but thats the same with every group. opener was teriffic...costume change took a while, but thats cause you don't have your second song yet, right? i know there were some skirt problems, but you can't do anything about that and you handled it greatly. still needs some fixing, but all-in-all you did wonderful.

Crete Monee---absolutely amazing. your choreography was just mind boggling....and those ballad soloists!!! wow!!! my only complaint is that vocals tended to go down slightly when the dancing picked up, but that is totally understandable. i thought you guys were just absolutely amazing. thanks for the entertainment.

Mooresville---your girls' opener costumes are beautiful...i saw one of your girls walking around and i thought she was just dressed up for something. i thought you guys had an entertaining show, but there is always room for improvement. congrats on your vocals this year. good job, guys.

Beavercreek---very entertaining show. the ballad was a bit long, but your amazing soloist made up for it. i loved your closer-the colors, the songs (80's are my favorite)-but there were some tempo problems at night, but it happens to the best of us. i hear you guys have a young group, and i wouldn't have guessed it. energized show, but it needs some work. very nice job.

"I was wondering where my skirt went."

LMAO...only in show choir.

A girl comes into a room....hot tired....sweaty...exhausted....

-person "whats wrong with you.."

-girl " idk...I'm sotired...i can't even remember what happened....one minute i had my skirt...the next minute he was throwing me around...and I didn't."

I also heard there was another group with a boy who got hurt, and I know in one group a girl broke or sprained something in her arm.

A girl in anderson class act broke her wrist i THINK.. and i thought i saw someone from teys valley get carried off or something...

All I have to say is : AMAZING SOUND!!!!! Hands down the best vocals their!!!!! I haven't heard a sound like that in a long time!!! Guys: GReat Blend and diction amazing!!!! Femals: Amazing
All i can say is that you guys are gifted vocally!!!!!! Amazing show!!!!! Amazing show!!!!

I agree. The mood made by the performance was extremely captivating. It was a show that an audiance member would have no problem watching twice in a row. The ballad soloists were amazing. Definitly one of my top favorites after this show.

The whole thing with the police cars...

A girl from Crete-Monee overheated and was having trouble breathing. She was conscious, but she couldn't seem to catch her breath and was sweating badly. They took her out to the ambulance, applied cool packs, and gave her oxygen and she came back for the Final Awards. As she was being treated, another Crete-Monee girl began to have trouble breathing, and a 3rd went into an asthma attack. The former was taken to the hospital and picked up on our way home. Thanks to her inhaler, the latter was fine within moments. A lot of us were walking around in tears.

So what time did Awards happen?

Awards were around 11.

Then we went back to our rooms loaded up our stuff....loaded up our truck. That was our night.

Question ... exactly how did the skirts fall off, was it just something with the material, or what? It just sounds so funny .

Well... the skirts for the girls are very swooshy...so in our ballroom number they fly around a lot and it's very easy for feet to come down on them....there is another skirt on under them though for our closer....just incase you were picturing something else

Franklin Central-- Other than a weak closer...I loved your show. Costumes are so trivial...you guys pulled through the falling skirts VERY well! I thought your vocals were the most solid and think you prolly should have placed one up from where you did.

Thank you very much...we hope to get the skirt issue fixed and our closer will be much stronger the next time you see us!
