Best of luck to all the groups competing today! Monona Grove's season may be over, but I am still excited to be coming down to watch all these talented groups! Should be a good one!

Waconia's band is pretty top notch when they aren't overpowering. I'm very excited to see BG live! Should be a tough competition.

Against the power of BG's band? Doubt it. Wait till you see them live...

Whoops. I didn't see Chesterton on there. They could also totally make finals. I haven't seen the show this year, but it's definitely possible.

I'm a little confused by Jefferson's scattered competition record, especially after watching a pretty decent youtube of them. I'm surprised they've had lower placements. I'm sure the competitions were challenging.

Buffalo Grove's BC over Waubonsie sure is impressive. I couldn't find a decent youtube video of their show this year, just a really low quality one.

Based on my questionable research, I'm ready to toss out an opinion on some unfortunately blind predictions.

GC: Waconia (BV, BB)
1RU: Buffalo Grove (BC)
2RU: CR Jefferson

MIlton, Mundelein, and Muscatine are all fantastic show choirs, but I'm not bold enough to put them in any order.

Waconia could easily sweep if they perform in prelims like they have in finals at most competitions. If they have any less than an amazing performance right off the bat, they could seriously dig themselves a deep grave.

I'm very excited to take a trip down to the Chicago area this weekend! I'm sure all of these choirs will make it worth my while!

I'm gonna go with:

GC: Buffalo Grove
1RU: CR Jefferson
2RU: Waconia

Then the last three I have troubles placing so I'm just gonna put them in no order:

Milton
Mundelein
Muscatine

Most likely a BG sweep.
