Can we talk about the acapela groups? They were all so good!! Love this addition to our shows.

Someone better sprint to these comments after Clinton performs to tell us about the show

A vivacious “Carpe Deim” type of show centered on vacation and fun times. Some great new Attaché hits and a few timeless classics refreshed for new audiences to enjoy. Really heartwarming to see, and hopefully a video is published soon! (Saw someone recording in the front row).

Saturday tickets are $15. Unsure about what forms of payment they accept.

They’re only taking cash today, the gas station down the road has an ATM.

I’d still love to know why Attachè performs not just first in their division, but 6.5 hours before the next group in their division. If this contest had finals, it wouldn’t really matter, but since it’s a one and done, it seems that it may come back to hurt them. If they do get second (or worse), would it be because Petal/Oak Mountain was truly better, or because there was such a large span of time between them and the rest of the division?

I don't think order will make much of an impact to be honest. I may eat my words here (i'm being nice because everyone is good), but I think the only thing that's up in the air at this comp is 2nd and below. Also, many competitions have swapped groups around for the sake of performers who have other extra curricular obligations going on the same day.

It may actually be the extra-curricular activities. That makes sense to me. Surprised you didn’t offer another steak dinner if the guy that predicted Clinton to get 3rd got that right haha. Or was that someone else when Tift County got 5th at Opelika in 201&?

maybe i should - the last person didn’t take me up on it after the fact. i had to eat alone. i predict a whole lot of people will owe that person a steak if clinton hits 3rd.

I know for a fact that it is due to Basketball, Clinton has at least one Basketball player in their group and Clinton will be playing to progress on I’m their bracket tomorrow night at 6:00pm. To be honest I’m just glad West Jones worked it out so they could still compete at this competition!

Predictions:

GC: Clinton "Attache" (BV, BC)
1RU: Petal "Soundsations"
2RU: Oak Mountain "Singers"

COVID affected many groups, including Clinton, but until they lose I can't predict against them in good conscience. Good luck to the groups here this weekend.
