Mr. Temple, you're too kind.

I'll definitely be there... and I can't wait to meet so many of the amazing show choir friends I've made over the years. Maybe we should find some way to organize an SCC get together of sorts? I'd love to meet up for dinner or something, but it might be too difficult with all of the choirs operating on different schedules.

Either way, this event is really looking to be one amazing competition!

Yeah, but us adults can do what ever we want, hahaha

take over the competition for our own?
Not only will we have a web site, but a competition to go along with it.

Sounds like a plan.

I was already seriously considering driving over to the Chicago area to see this competition, but if Häakon is going to be there that might have just sealed the deal. I'd love to meet him in person. The only thing that could make the trip anymore certain is if it were just a couple weeks later after the Cubs season has begun.

Or, you could stay in Chicago through Sunday and catch me in the final performance of the season at Lyric Opera. We're doing Eugene Onegin. Goodness knows we're MUCH better than the Cubs!

Orbie (and everyone else, haha)-

I was talking to people from Troy Buchanan, as as much as I adore them, as of now they are not going to FAME Chicago.

Hopefully next year.

I don't think that's been updated recently cus I think Onalaska is going now too...

I don't think Onalaska is going. They are going to Chicagoland, and then to FAME New York, but not FAME Chicago. I know that they have something going on that Friday, but I really don't think they'll be going.

all of the fame events run for three days, (at my fame in hawaii it's actually five days) but the actual competition is only one day. FAME is a whole vacation not just a competition.

atleast, thats how it was last time i went

i don't know if it is final, but there is a rumor going around that Troy Bucannon is also attending. This is sure to be an amazing event and I know it will be an honor to final compete again all these groups all at once. Good luck to everyone in this upcoming season!!!
