I know the performance order is pulled out of a hat and Waconia is performing last right after Bemidji. Bemidji and Waconia were awesome. I'm VERY surprised Connection didn't get best band. Encore Singers of TG did very well. If any of you read this, your hard work REALLY paid off.
Excited for finals, and the lasagna I'm about to eat.

wow! what a day! i'm currently sitting in the auditorium with margaux.
i would just like to say thanks to eau claire for always putting on such a welcoming competition. the volunteers and students are always so helpful. thanks for being so great.
margaux and i arrived in time to watch current, and although i am very biased, they always make me so proud. they are becoming a jv group to really look out for and work so hard so consistently.
a few notes so far.
monona! i love elton john so you won me over immediately! beautiful vocals on the ballad! chill inducing. and very original theme ps!
chi hi! your ballad was just... wow. wow. wow. i really enjoyed it! and i love how you always commit fully to your theme and character. (:
kennedy! i am a bit biased because i'm good friends with some of your alum, but your vocals every year impress me. your show had a really cool start! you also always fully commit to your characters. ps: boy who had I want you back solo, we have crushes on you. and! I forgot. girls, those blue dresses are a dream.
northern lights! that opener was killer! i loved the mood it set and the choreography was sick! love love love love.
jeff! THOSE YELLOW DRESSES HOLY CRAP. loved your show! the opener was my favorite. and ballad soloist, you are amazing! i wish i had more to say. i truly enjoyed your show.
waconia! this was my first time seeing your show. anne marie powers, can i be you? i sobbed. i weeped. beyond that, you all amaze me. i wouldn't chose to be an alum of any other group. i shouldn't say more, but wow.
bemidji! love the opener dresses. incredible vocals and amazing blend! nice work!
I dont think I've ever seen Waconia compete in my entire show choir career, but I hear they're good. As an alum, I'm pulling for MG but good luck to all competitors!
It's the day of Winterfest and I'm sooooo excited!! I can't wait to see all of these good groups and compete against them! ...hahhh. It's gonna be a good day!
I'm with you Kurah!! Cece, Becky, and I will be there to cheer on Power Company and the Current! I'm SO excited to see so many of my favorite show choirs.
I believe it's $10 for each Pre lims and finals or $15 for all day.
Yup. This is the expert from the calendar on the Eau Claire Area School District Website:

The competition will feature 18 show choirs from Wisconsin and Minnesota with exhibition performances by the Eagle Show Choir and Old Abe Show Choir. Concessions will be available all day and a lasagna dinner after 4 pm. Daytime preliminaries begin at 8am; evening finals begin at 6:40 pm. Tickets will be available at the door and costs are: $10 for preliminaries, $10 for finals, or $15 for admission to preliminaries and finals. This competition is sponsored by the Memorial High School Choir Booster Club."
