I am very excited to see Bemidji this year! They are usually a great treat to see at the start of the year!

As soon as i get back from California i will be working a few days and then its Linn Mar time!

Thanks!!! Still LOTS to do, and the days are quickly counting down, but Bemidji cannot wait to come back to Linn Mar and compete!!!! I am also excited to see the AMAZING CALIBER of all the groups going....... who knows about finals, or places, or what will happen, all i know is that everybody at Linn Mar High School is going to see some awesome show choir, from MANY awesome groups! Good luck to everyone in your rehersals leading up to the competition, and in your safe journey to get there!!!!

Predictions are fun. but over the years I've learned that the business of predicting is useless, especially at the beginning of a season when no one has seen shows (maybe a few previews). So many changes have occurred from the 2008 season at some of these schools... and once again, shows and students change yearly. It makes it impossible to guess. I won't predict anything about this competition until after day round of Linn Mar.

I agree completely. Somehow though, it's too much fun making predictions to see how right/wrong I'll be

Eek. Its hard to predict because of all the changes this year and we havent seen the shows but going based on what I'm hearing (which is not too much..)

GC: Bemidji
RU: Urbandale
2RU: Waukee
3RU: Ankeny
4RU: Totino
5RU: Kennedy
6RU: Xavier

I feel really awkward putting Ankeny in 4th and Totino in 5th... but I just really see Urbandale and Waukee being top notch this year, and Bemidji always blows me away. Ankeny is in a transition year with a new director and I believe they can be beaten by Urbandale and Waukee, but then again- I would not be surprised if they pull through and win it all. This list will be proven wrong I am sure because I'll bet the top 7 are decided within very small margins.

Probably just a shot in the dark but...

1) Urbandale
2) Ankeny
3) Totino-Grace
4) Bemidji
5) Waukee
6) CR Kennedy
7) Johnston/CR Xavier

Woot woot I'll be there.

Maybe even sitting with sir Adam

I'd like to wish everyone good luck. This line up is simply amazing, and it's show choirs that know what they're doing.

C-razy.

I'm going to try my best to be there....simply because Adam would like me to go.

Oh, and because this Rian character doesn't want me to go.

Wow, first post in a year....weird.

haha! Nice first post.

does anyone know who will be judging?

I'm pretty sure that Damon Brown and April James will be the critique judges. Aside from that I'm not sure.
