Defying Gravity from 2004 would be a good addition......It didn't make it last year?

The songs that are inducted into the Hall of Fame are songs that were performed at SoCal that year and really stood out. Unfortunately, Hart didn't attend SoCal last year and therefore, Defying Gravity can't be added into the Hall of Fame. Had they attended, I'm sure it would have been inducted.

i came from garden grove just to watch the show yesterday. wow! lots of fun. so many great moments. i really had a great time. it's too bad i got so sick, but yanoe. a price we all must pay? er...yeah.

congratulations to burbank for sweeping everything. yowza. my friend made me call her during your set so she could listen, so if you saw an asian girl sitting on the floor with her phone on just watching you guys and not talking, that was me. burroughs' confetti cannons scared the living daylights out of me. there's more but i have a pounding headache and i don't wanna write too much. hello to all the cool people i met

i'm so sad competition season is over. i didn't want it to end...i wish our school had been able to come. we were invited, but our district is really strict and won't let us go anywhere. (but will let drumline go to dayton, ohio...boo! hiss!) still, i had a good time just watching. i may come back next year to watch, who knows?

i'm avoiding personal shout outs. heh.

I want to say thanks to Mr. A and everybody in CV for putting on a GREAT competition! All four of Burbank's choirs got 1st! That's AMAZING!

CARLSBAD ENCORE AND KEVIN: I LOVE ALL OF YOU! I really felt loved when many of you came up and talked to me and hugged me! I felt really special!! KEVIN, you are a FANTABULOUS guy!!! I feel extremely special for getting the chance to know you! I'm glad you are a techie for Encore! I will definitely call you! KP, I don't know if you're on here. You were the first name of all of the girls that I remembered! You are totally sweet and such a good person! MARY, I will sooo call you when I find time, which is probably in 2 or 3 weeks! lol Talking to you was great! You're an amazing person!! To others I talked to from Cbad, thank you again! Even your parents remembered me... they are great! I can't wait to see both groups next year! Ms. Owen, you are one of my favorite choir directors! Both choirs have an amazing sound! THANK YOU!!

ROB from DB, YOU ROCK!! I totally love your voice and your facials!! You are the best DB performer! Like I said last night, your energy gave me sooo mcuh energy during your set! I LOVED IT! It was great meeting you! You're a fantastic person! Could I get a copy of the pic we took together? My camera was stupid and the one I had won't turn out... Good luck in the future with everything!

MR. CARROLL, I think you are my favorite director! I am in love with the sound that emanates from all of your choirs! I loved In Sync and Sound Dogs! Impressions was by far the hardest competition Sound Sensations faced! Out of the Blue was AMAZING! They are advanced material. You seem like such a great person! Burbank is very lucky to have a great director! My favorite thing about your style is how classy the choirs are... it makes them look absolutely stunning!

HÄAKON, thanks for this site! I wouldn't have been able to meet sooo many wonderful people! Yes, I am persistant. Yes, I almost always get what I want. Yes, to the other stuff! You're, let's say, an interesting person! Over the past 4 years, I have taken like 3 pictures with you! Not a billion! haha

Sound Sensations, WE ROCKED! This years set was awesome! I loved our energy at SoCal! Third again... don't let the tradition go on next year! LOL PORTER ROCKS!!!!

Thanks Mr. A!!

how do i go about saying this... The Jacob (or whoever owns thefatattacks), hi I'm The Doug and I think that there was one thing that you missed in my quote which throws a munkey wrentch in your contridictive passive agressive attack. I said I think that the empire rocks. There were 3 insync guys I approached and complemented after they won 1st place. So how could i end this with out people miss reading everything i say... Ooo I got it!
I'm sure it was an honest mistake and I hope we can be friends someday!

The starwars quote meant that Powerhouse was 1st place for three years in a row and they were dethroned. Now you can say that I’m saying burroughs is light and good and Burbank is dark and evil and you would be slightly correct. Just keep in mind that I’m dating the ph soprano section leader, but I also think that the empire rocks.
this hasn't been editied, its been P.C.ed

well, first off i apologize for reviving this topic, however i'd like to say a few things that aren't meant for potential drama, hatred, or springs for futher contemptuous discussions... but in show choir that is inevitable!

i personally think that so cal, and burroughs (i havent been to harts...yet) are among my personal favorite show choir competitions. the whole aura, and vibe i get from it all leads to me to that conclusion. however, it probably has something to do with the fact that i dont have to worry about driving 3 hours back. anyways congragulations to burbank on sweeping, and the rest of the awesome show choirs that participated and contributed to so cal's "awesomeness". well, back to my original point for discussion.

in the above quote i was shocked to read what my eyes had the unfortunate pleasure to gaze upon. lucky me. so i follow with the cliche competition reminders: show choir and festivals are a gathering of diverse peoples, groups, and schools to share a common interest... music. this is meant to bring us all together and share what we all do best... performing. sure placings matter to us, i mean its inevitable. we as students and a get together formally known as a competition sets us in that exact frame of mind. but keep in mind that without competitions, we would not have the oppurtunity to meet friends who share a common interest with us, or be able to display our talents in front of peers who appreciate it the most. so before all competitions are cancled because people have a problem with judging, or whatever the case may be, lets all just get along, keep the criticisms to yourself, so we do not cause conflictions between other choirs. and think about it, as we're doing so we can lower the risk of drama, and prima donnas altogether!
so to make it short, after i rambled about what we already know, but are ignorant enought to avoid, i'll continue my explanation. my personal favorite showhoirs are burroughs, burbank, and hart; all for several different reasons. but i have always, since my initiation into show choir last year, have grown fond of burbank. i was happy for them last year as they achieved a strong record, and probably one of the best sets i've seen put together overall. this year i stuck by them, and continue to stick by them, or any group for this matter under harsh scrutiny. bias may play a slight roll in here but...well, lets be blunt and skip to the point. the metaphor used in your post lead to further implications of hateful and unsportsman like comparisons, which would generate within reason, to call you a jerk for those actions you hold accountable to saying (itys quoted in your post). however i believe you were just angered at the moment, so i'll take that into consideration.
burbank like any other group in the circuit has worked countless hours, sacrificed personal time, and dedicated too much to undergo this kind of scrutiny. and to follow the comparison with an irrelevant statement ("just keep in mind that im dating ph soprano section leader"). that statement is meaningless in standing in context next to your contemptuous metaphor, because your not critisizing powerhouse, but burbank (sorry, im a little analytical). so you may infer that i am acting like burbanks spokesman (which i would'nt mind), but im not. im just a regular show choir member, lately questioning after all the drama, and hate... what is show choir coming to? think about it, and please before you reply to me with your "jibber- jabber" on contradicting what i wrote, analyze then you can scrutinize... then i'll be happy to clarify for you.
