To our Burroughs brothers and sisters: cheers to another incredible year. We are fortunate to live in a city that is home to TWO schools with TWO amazing choir directors with such gifted students and a community of tirelessly supportive parents. Along with many other choirs, we are also big fans of Powerhouse and thoroughly enjoyed your set this year!

To our Hart cousins: Your set got better and better through the season and you pulled out all stops at Chula. It was outstanding. Even better with the pants malfunction! Janet Jackson, eat your heart out...

To Tony: Thank you for making the Chula competition so much fun. Your student hosts were gracious and encouraging as always. "Gravity" was a perfect ending to the evening. Beautifully done. By the way, that great vocalist on "Too Hot" is Danny Park. He's a senior and will be sorely missed...

To bearthinesoulfire, crabwalkingpoo, theFATattackS, and Angl082687: Thank you very much for your kind words and support...

To all the So Cal choirs: It's such a great pleasure to see the rise in quality that each year brings. There will always be judging controversies big and small, but those will never diminish the absolute enjoyment we derive from all the performances...

Lastly: Come to the Burbank Pop Show! May 26, 27, 28. There will be the usual great variety of acts along with a few nods to some of our choir friends' sets. Who knows, there might even be a Star Wars or Harry Potter reference thrown in...

Feed the birds
That song brought tears to my eyes. I remember when I was little wearing out the rewind button on the vcr so I could hear that song over and over again.
The arrangement Burroughs did ( as well as the way Burroughs sung it) was beautiful and did the song the justice it deserves.
