Third Runner Up: Lincoln Southwest "Resonance" (BB)
Fourth Runner Up: Ralston "RUSH"
Fifth Runner Up: Grand Island Northwest "14 Karat Gold"
Timeslots could effect a lot of groups here, which is kinda blah. But just based on everything, these are my predictions. Although like I mentioned earlier, Keller, Elkhorn South, Sioux Falls Washington, GISH, and Lewis Central could all make finals, too.
It's good to know you like our competition!! All of the hosts are working their tails off making decorations all week. They all look great so far!! I haven't seen many of these groups yet, but I am super excited to see everyone this year! From what I've heard, it is gonna be a very fierce competition!!!!

I don't know... I think that Sioux City Washingtons decorations are going to rock hard as well...
this saturday is going to be one heck of a competition! i am beyond excited!! competition of excellence is one of my favorite competitions! good food, good hosts, and definitely some great show choirs coming to perform! RUSH has worked so hard this year and i can't wait to show it on stage! out of the groups that'll be there saturday, i've seen GINW and GISH (and they were both amazinggg) so i'm stoked to see everybody else!

i love how people are saying their "random" predictions.....and those that don't have mitchell at the top.
i'm sorry but there is just no way any choir at this competition will come close to matching mitchell :/
It's funny that right away when a thread starts about a show choir event, the immediate focus is how people will place. Don't get me wrong I'm an extremely competitive person, but instead of worrying and creating controversies about peoples predictions, what if nearly every post didn't have something to do with a prediction. Whether the intention is there or not, the possibility of sending out bad "vibes" and disrespect can all come from all these silly predictions. Let's all just go out there and enjoy the opportunity to be with some AMAZING talent!

I'm so anxious for the competition... purely because I haven't seen ANY show choir since about march. This will be an incredible competition. I'm really excited to see everyone's show... and as always will be surprised and impressed by tons of groups.

This will be a big time comp. for everyone here. I think that these teams have all steped up. For the most part every team has their first show jitters out and have adjusted to what the judges have said and/or docted them on. I have to commend Ralston on how far they have came in a single year. This will be the year that will put them on the map as a very strong contender in the midwest (they have done well, but this year is beyond anything I have ever seen from them). And yes I am from Grand Island, NE, but none the less I watched GISH's show on facebook, and they are something else this year. They have had a few down years because of their lack of a solidified director, but this year they have such raw tallent that they will spring board back to the formor glory they were in. I honestly love 14 Karat Gold's show this year more then any show I was ever in, or have seen, with the group, but that dosn't mean that it is the most "judge friendly" show. I think Friend de Coup will take it purely off of what they did last year. I have never seen ICW and that is probably why I am giving them 4th, so sorry everyone from there. Headliners are stinking down right good every year. Lincoln SW is allways a big deal (props to their band) but idk how they will do this year. (sry for all the misspelled words)................. but overall I think this is going to be a down to the wire comp.... especialy for the daytime.

3rd RU: Mitchell [Haven't seen Mitchell this year, but they always deliver, so they could easily rank higher too.]
4th RU and 5th RU: I could see going to ANYONE. There is so much talent coming here.
[*IN MY UNPROFESSIONAL OPINION*] It's going to be a tough competition between:
Ralston RUSH, Free Spirit, Lincoln SW, Voices of Keller, Lewis Central, GISH, and Elkhorn South.
Ralston has never been more ready for this. We are soooo pumped, and even more pumped to see everyone else's shows too. That's my favorite part: getting to see what everybody has brought to the table. Good luck this weekend, everyone!!!
