I was there for the afternoon portion of prelims and I saw some great groups from Ohio and Indiana. Good luck to all in awards. (:

Oh that's the least interesting thing you could have said.

What's the real deal?

With all respect, I believe Twinsburg is being extremely underestimated.

You're right.

"
GC- Carmel
1st ru- Center Grove
2nd ru- Lawrence Central
3rd ru- Marysville
4th ru- Solon
5th ru- Bishop Luers **
(backup - Twinsburg)"

I don't know if I made a prediction, and there are 7 pages to look through. So new predictions.

GC: Carmel (BV, BC)
1RU: Twinsburg
2RU: Lawrence Central
3RU: Bishop Luers
4RU: Marysville
5RU: Center Grove

I'm not sure what happened to Center Grove this year, but in 2010 they were in my top 5, and this year I almost had a hard time watching their show at Pike. Not because it was THAT bad or anything... It just sucks to see such a powerhouse choir have such a down year. I don't even know that they've competed anywhere since pike have they?

Does anyone have access to a copy of the score sheet this contest uses? If Vocals are heavily weighted like they are in Indiana, I could see both Lawrence Central and Bishop Luers toppling Twinsburg. Both have an amazing sound, but TBurg will definitely have the Choreography advantage.

I haven't seen CG, LC, or Carmel this year, but I'll still throw out a prediction for the fun of it.

GC- Carmel
1st ru- Center Grove
2nd ru- Lawrence Central
3rd ru- Marysville
4th ru- Solon
5th ru- Bishop Luers **
(backup - Twinsburg)

** Bishop Luers seems to always be a wild card, either they dominate or not do so hot. They could potentially be up in the top or idk, I haven't seen them this year, I'm just kinda basing this off of other people's predictions/past history. I hope no one gets offended.

Don't take Bishop Luers for granted. With Ron Morgan and much better vocals I was really impressed.

It's going to be packed. Better get there early. I know that I am tempted to head down to see the girls groups. That will be a fierce battle. Any predictions on girls groups?
