I was fortunate enough to meet some of the Poca performers and parents, and let me just say, I absolutely love you guys! You were always extremely nice and courteous to everyone.

I hope we all see each other again in the future!!!

I SO wanted to see Poca! I've been involved in show choir since 2002 and not once have I seen "Visual Volume" live. Maybe next year...

Here's a hot idea! Yall come to our competition!!!

Thank you! I think this is the first time that the Poca backstage dads have gotten a thank you that I can remember. It really means alot to me being an alumni seeing them get some credit. They get some mad skills having to centend with Poca sets of old. Have you ever seen those monsters? Nutsy. Anyway, thank you and I'm sure it was their pleasure to help people of such class.

Just a note from a Centerstage! parent/stage crew: A TREMENDOUS THANK YOU TO THE POCA DADS for your assistance at Belmont in helping us get our stage background on and off stage. You will never know how much your gracious assistance is appreciated. While other "stage dads" would have walked away and let us struggle with that monstrocity, you guys were unbelievable in getting in there and helping us out. We could never have done it as quickly without your help! Again, thank you and may Visual Volume have great success as your reward!!!!!!!!!!!!

I liked the way Albertville transforms their show from theatre to typical Show Choir. It was very exciting to see and honestly it kept my attention the whole show. The closer was a killer. Too bad the judges didn't see the uniqueness and variety of your very talented group. If you have never directed a Show Choir or have been part of a group like this it is hard for them to understand the work and dedication. Your vocals were top notch and so many talented soloist. It blew me away! Keep up the good work and I can't wait to see your show again. Perhaps I will be able to come to Wheaton-Warrenville. One other thing, the stage props were awesome. I could tell it was very hard squeezing such a top drawer set into such a small stage. I know in my heart you desired to be Grand Champions. But First Place isn't bad at all. Continue to strive to do your very best and your rewards will continue to come in Show Choir and in life.

Break a leg!

Judging from what I saw Albertville was able to get everything on, but they seemed really cramped. I'm pretty sure part o their band was into the wings. They still put on a great performance though!

Congratulations to High Leit on making the finals! We had the pleasure of meeting them at a rest stop near Nashville and they were VERY nice! haha Their vocals were incredible and their show was VERY entertaining! They really did deserve it!

Was Albertville able to use all the back drops? I know that sometimes they don't fit through the door at Belmont.

As far as I know they were able to fit everything onstage. But that is why they ran long.

Does anyone happen to know what prelims placements were? I know Albertville took a while to get onstage so they might have run over time limit. Did they announce prelims placements or does someone on the inside have them? Is fo please post them! Thanks!
