So many haters on this Board - and you call yourself show choir people? Is it the venue, or the judges? Meanwhile you end up degrading the event for everyone who shows up. Anyone who’s been around show choir in Indiana for more than a few years knows exactly what this is all about. Good luck to ALL the kids performing today!! For all the parents/alumni from these schools that don’t show up at ISSMA, thanks for staying home. Just stop the negativity on the boards.
Looking forward to a great event, and to seeing a few of the choirs that I've been in the building with, but have missed by being a crew dad. Congrats to all the schools, large and small, that made finals. Indiana is a great state for show choir!
I must say, I’m pretty surprised to not see Plainfield women here. They were phenomenal in Nashville last year and seem to have had a successful year this year.
Predictions!!!
1st- Brownsburg (Best Choreography). This group is really good so I think they could do well here.
2nd- Noblesville (Best Vocal). Noblesville had a pretty good season this year so I see them doing pretty well here. I also think that there is no other group who shows off their vocals as well as Noblesville does. From the video I saw they have some very challenging stuff.
3rd- North Central (Best Band)
4th- Castle
5th- Pike
6th- Franklin Community
7th- Fishers
8th- Lawrence Central
9th- Plainfield

It was previously reported that the venues would alternate between North Central HS and Franklin Central HS for the large and small state contests. The ISSMA website is now updated a bit for 2019 and does include the usual host sites of NCHS for large state and FCHS for small state. We've updated our pages to reflect what's posted on their website.
