Yeah thanks for thinking we should've placed higher than fifth. We thought we did better than fifth too but oh well i guess. Our band only lost the Single-Gender by 2 points and the mixed by 1 point so that was really really close. I thought that most of the hosts were really nice and that the competition was very well put together. I had a lot of fun. But whats up with your guys' pizza from dominoes? Swear to god it was cardboard with sauce and cheese. But anyways it was a fun competition and we'll see you guys next week!

. Prospect's show was so cool, too! I loved the Switchfoot song. I definitely think you should have placed higher in finals.

Wow thanks so much! I'm glad you liked our show...we had a great time performing it! Congrats to all the groups, this was a tough comp and everyone did really well!

Congrats Homestead, Highland is looking forward to seeing you all again at your invitational next weekend.

Awesome job Anderson and Highland, our city was represented very well at such a great competition.

I agree with the statement that you made about Anderson and Highland... what is most disappointing about the whole this is not that Anderson did not make the finals in this competition - we knew that it was a gamble to begin with; the worst thing about it was the extreme unsportsman-like conduct that was displayed by Anderson's fiercest competitor - they all know who they are. It is unfortunate that kind of behavior is allowed to be displayed in such a public forum. It is one thing to win - we ALL know what that feels like; it is another thing all together to be gracious winners - that is NOT what I saw from one of the finals placing choirs - it makes me wonder what they have been taught about proper behavior in those kinds of situations. "What is not taught, seldom happens... what is not learned and practiced, NEVER happens." It just comes down to respect - some people don't even have enough for themselves to be able to share it with others - very sad.

I just wanted to say congrats to all of the choirs, especially Highland for doing so well in both divisions. It's nice to see that both of our schools did really well.

For the ones who didn't make the mixed finals along with Anderson, you have nothing to be ashamed of. Atlee and Beavercreek both put on amazing shows, but it was very difficult to get into finals. Prospect's show was so cool, too! I loved the Switchfoot song. I definitely think you should have placed higher in finals.

And last but not least, congrats to Homestead. It's about time you got the recognition you deserve. See... I told you guys you'd get GC! Lol.

Thanks for a great competition. Good luck with the rest of your seasons.

Beavercreek, I know you're disappointed with results, but get ready for a great close to your season next weekend at St Clairsville. Like I said this week, there were 7 or 8 VERY strong groups at this contest. The judges were qualified and very fair, so fix what needs fixing and have a great final weekend next Saturday! God Bless, Damon

Here's my predictions:

Although a little bold, I believe this is how it will play out:::

GC: Homestead
1ru: Zionsville
3ru: Beavercreek
4ru: Anderson
5ru: Ben Davis

Best Vocals: Zionsville
Best Choreography: Homestead
Best Band: Homestead
If everything goes like last weekend at Carroll, Homestead has a really good shot of winning this. We were only 7 points behind Huntington North going into finals, and we were beating them in choreography. Our back-up band was only 2 points away from being first, ((Huntington North won the award)).. So this will def. be an interesting competition!!

Good luck to all!

Exactly. I definitely agree with those predicitions even though that puts us in the bottom half of finals. I think that either Zionsville and Homestead could take this; however, Homestead CAN dance. I wish you the best all the best of luck! You definitely deserve it.

Thanks for ranking us!....

Are most people not ranking us because they've never seen us or because they've seen us and don't think we're good?

just wondering! thanks!

I think it's because they haven't seen you. I know we haven't this year! But, Good Luck!! I'm sure you'll do great!

Thanks for thinking of us! We've been working really hard this year and we are all really excited to perform with some great groups...I'm sure it will be an amazing competition! Can't wait!
