It's apparent to me that you're not a big Andy Haines fan Aaron... I HOWEVER, am a big Andy Haines fan... I really think they might perform twice.

BUT I agree with your top 4.

after seeing some of these groups more recently than when i last posted in this topic, here are my updated thoughts on possible finalists.

i'd say the following four groups are more than likely to grab a spot. if one of these gorups didn't make finals i would really take issue with the judging, unless something very unexpected were to occur during a performance.
-Hurricane
-Marysville
-Piqua
-Teays Valley

the following three schools have the best shot at securing the last two spots in finals.
-Euclid
-Garfield Heights
-Manchester

usually i'd be in the frame of mind to think Manchester is a for-sure in finals, but with the way some of these Ohio schools are improving, and with the relative staleness of their shows (maybe it's just me - i'm not much of an Andy Haines fan), i think they might find themselves only performing once at Twinsburg.

They had another dance off with three other people from schools and a dancing bannana while the peanut butter jelly time song was playing

I remeber that. Then in 2005 they had a Napoleon Dynomite Look-a-like contest

i remember in 04' they had a "who can dance like William Hung" contest before awards, and everyone there in the auditorium danced and sang to that stupid song. it was one of the craziest things ive seen in show choir.

They have more then just a video ... lol. It's really hard to describe.

They like have a bunch of funny things put together in a video collage, like I know in '05 it was all Napolean Dynamite clips and then there was a Napolean Dynamite dance off contest, but last year was a lot better then that and I can't even remember what they did. I know they had a lot of Family Guy clips, and then this car commercial where you're supposed to focus on the car driving around a road in the mountains and then all of a sudden a monster pops up and goes AHHHHHHH! It was so awesome because everyone in the auditorium screamed so loud, because that thing was so scary, haha.

I don't even remember what else they do, all I remember is it's really the coolest awards ceremony I've ever been to.

Well this competition I am excited to hear what happens.

GC- Marysville (best Vocals, Band)
1st- Hurricane (Best choreography)
2nd- Piqua
3rd- Manchester
4th- Teays Valley
5th- Solon

Well I remember Hurricane beat Marysville last year at our competition so anything could really happnen. I am just looking for this being Marysville year and making a good run for an undefeated year. I have not seen Hurricanes show this year but have seen Marysville twice already. Hard choice really. but this is what i think is going to happen

I haven't seen Marysville this year, but i heard they topped last year. Which was amazing as well. I have seen Hurricane this year and they are way better than last year and that is saying a lot. I love REDHOT=)

for the choirs i've seen here are my predictions..

GC-Hurricane/Marysville
1ru-Marysville/Hurricane
2ru-Manchester
3ru-Piqua
4ru-Teays Valley/Garfield
5ru-Garfield/Teays Valley

Yeah, last year the awards ceremony got the crowd CRAZY wild, haha.

I'm so pumped.

It's my last show choir competition ever, wow.

I'm rooting for Solon to pull off a finals spot. This competition is TOUGH, but the Solon kids are some of the nicest, most talented, and passionate kids when it comes to performing.

Good luck, everyone!

This is not outta the norm for Brush to be competing at like daybreak Such a great competition line up cant wait to see everyone in a few weeks

eh, the only bad thing I've found about performing in the morning is it seems like it takes FOREVER for awards to come around.
