Best Vocals and Choreography Awards to Top 6 Class AA groups in Finals. Concluded with a performance by Hastings "Riverside Company".

but for the most part...i like what i see for finals....last year...at FAME Branson...we beat Papio in prelims but they came back and beat us in semifinals so we'll see how all that goes...we have a rele good show this year...better than Hillside has been in a while...and we are workin our butts off for this comp....we might be practicing everynight b4 this comp...so i cant wait!!!

Papillion LaVista "Free Spirit" has competed so far at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln's Midwest Cup. They placed third there behind two excellent choirs- Ankeny and Omaha Westside. They have a very fun show and I would not be surprised to see them make finals. here are my predictions:

After seeing at bemidji and seeing the opener of Eau Claire (yes, i know not the whole show.. but...) I would put Bemidji over Eau Claire this late in the season.

(Quick thing, you put Jeffersons prep group ahead of Bloomington Kennedy and Pleasent Hill, Bloomington Jefferson's main group can't attend due to other commitments.)

Another thing about Hastings is the fact they have a Walmart (I think...it could have been a Target or something) right across the way. Not that anyone I knew ever snuck out during a competition to get some gum...
HAHA this made me laugh for like 10 minutes... because... it's 530 am and i haven't slept... and... i think i read that while thinking of ben stein... so i was reading it as a sarcastic ben stein would have said "not that anyone i knew ever snuck out during a competition to get some gum..." but obviously since the man has no inflection whatsoever in his voice... it didn't come across as sarcasm... just odd...
