It's so amazing...extremely well put together competition, good parents, good hosts, good times.

Last year was so much fun.

...Oontz Oontz Oontz

Does anyone know if a prep group can be in finals? Is there a special place for a Class A group at all? Just curious.

Prep groups are not excluded from finals. They can make it if they do better than all but five groups. The last two years no prep group made it into finals. But who knows maybe it will happen this year.

I'm really excited for Hastings. I can't wait to see GCS. I haven't seen them since my sister's freshman year in high school and that was in 2002-2003 at Hastings. So I'm really excited. My sister talks about how much she loved GCS at Chicago Land last year. So I'm really excited. I can't wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If the prep group was better than all but 5 groups I think it's possible. I dunno if they exclude them from finals, but I doubt it.

Though it probably doesn't do them justice (because it's video) Papillion La-Vista's 2005-2006 competition show is on youtube.

Papillion is much better this year than last year so keep that in mind if you watch their video in youtube.

I think we have a fan club that are congregating to cheer us on at Hastings. Our fans are always really devoted and I think that's what gets groups pumped up the most is to see the crowd completely in love with them. It makes me happy anyway. I haven't seen Bemidji since I was an 8th grader so I really want to make it into the gym at some point for them. Eau Claire was already really solid at Monona Grove so I'm sure they're going to leave everything on the stage when they're done. Totino is looking solid this year as well. This is going to be such a great competition.

ugh YEAH i was part of that fan group nick until my plans changed like a week ago =[ but i will be cheering from the other side of the country in cali! woop woop, you SHOULD so send me a video order form for this comp haha. yes i remember when u did that. it was awesomeeeee. and i WANT a dvd of you guys this year so i should totally hit it up

When I read the words "milkshake closer" terrible terrible images ran through my head, and I thought, "how would a song choice like that EVER get ok'd?"

Then I realized you were talking about GCS using milkshake props, and not the pop song from a few years back. Phew.

Unfortunately for them you guys are running on high morale after your big win at Sauk, So... as an official OASC audience member, I'm going to have to be on top of my game for cheering and helping the parents cheer... (Me and a friend, got the parents to do the gigalo cheer. Not a great idea, but it worked.)

oh yes i'm "that friend" and we will be there again at Hastings competition...atleast this time we will have two other groups of kids along with us instead of just parents to help with cheering. I'm getting excited for this competition and i'm not even performing, dang.

Haha yay for a time that's actually past noon!! That makes me excited that I won't have to wake up at 4:30 again

At least you won't have to! I really hope I can preform for both groups and do more than only singing. It's just not the same without the dancing! Let's pray I can! I can't wait for this comp...I've heard it's a great one!

Psht...don't be terrified haha. You guys beat us in vocals this year already. As far as I see it, all is fair game.

I'm terrified of going right after that cool milkshake closer...It's such a cool and innovative number. Mike Weaver did a great job with you guys this year.

Haha I know. I like how all of the groups I'm scared of go right after us all in a row. Eau Claire, Bemidji, Totino. That just makes me laugh. This should be fun!

NO PROBLEMO...I've never gotten to put up a schedule...Makes me feel kinda fuzzy inside...Also, my fingers hurt.

EDIT: I wanna discuss slots!

Wow...right after GCS...right before Bemidji...Willikers thats tough! I'm excited though...Unfortuately, that means I might not get to see Bemidji...maybe Totino though...
