WOW! What a great day!
Garfield Heights...what can I say...it will be a huge understatement! A flawless performance...from the choreo to the vocals to the costumes to the concept! One of the most enjoyable shows I've seen in years. I hope every one of your performers understands exactly how proud of each other you should be! Your Directors and Choreographer are class acts and took you guys to the top...you are certainly a "Powerhouse" this year!!!! CONGRATS! Kick some %$# at "the Falls"!

first of all - i love garfield heights . they were amazing. good luck this competition season, i know you will do GREAT =D we were 2nd going into finals with yall at first and im glad you stayed first. you clearly deserve it. yall went up like what 15 points? damnnnn thats good. i love you all and cannot wait to see you at cuyahoga falls. love love loved it. carroll was great too. i must say the prettiest show choir out there that i've seen. your alls vocals were amazing and the show was cool too. and st. clairesville, you all really stepped it up in finals! i'm glad you all were so gooood =D the ballad is great. you all really improved in a year! =D great job.

this weekend was so much fun!! thanks to beavercreek for the hosts, i know we were stressin you all out before finals since we only had like 35 mins from awards to eat and get ready to perform again, but thanks for the help =DD

This still dose not feel real to me but it proves that all of our hard work paid off, props to the new bees you have all really stepped it up and I’m proud of you. But this is only the first step and there is still such a long way to go, I can’t wait to go to Cuyahoga Falls to compete again. St. C I loved your show you entertained me so much and I love the beginning with the white scrim you seriously gave me goose bumps and had me scared. Anyways nice show everyone and I cant wait to see you again.

i agree ketih. i just wanted to add on to the n00bs comment. they come in and join express (some late into practices and everything) not knowing wut is going to happen when they come on these trips. they put in all this hard work and sometimes get yelled at, but brush that aside. they go into there first ever competition and wut do they get. Grand Campion class and overall, best choreo and best vocals. this show definitely could not have been better for the n00bs than anything else. this proves that they really had wut it takes to be in a show choir, and i am proud to have been able to work with them, help them, and get help from them in certain times, and come out on top. i think that a big WOOT goes to our first year people and for coming out and not being afraid of all the hype and being intimidated by the performances of the other groups. and just think about this, we can only get better from here!!!! GO GARFIELD!!!!!

Congratulations Garfield. I am very happy that I could be there to share your first Grand Championship ever! You have made leaps and bounds in two years and I am expecting more to come. You are all extremely talented and hard working students. Keep focused and stay humble! Continue to work hard to pull off a great Invitational this weekend and prepare for Cuyahoga Falls

Carroll and Nitro AMAZING jobs! Carroll you are definately a poised and professional group and I really enjoyed watching your show.

Nitro congrats on getting over the "hump" great job and wonderful showing.

Wow, that was some competition.

CONGRATS to Garfield and all of the other finalists!! As crazy as it is that the year Carey left us, they won, I am so proud of you guys!! You deserved it.

And honestly, I am really proud of how Brush did. Even though we didn't make finals, we tied for 7th with Riverdale... 298.5... and everybody stepped up their game so much. Though I'm obviously not thrilled we didn't make finals, I am happy about how we did, especially considering our new group and director/choreographer change. Plus, as I said, all of the finalists definitely deserved to be there.

Thanks to everyone at Bevercreek! This was Carroll's first trip to your invitational. I thought it was very well run and everyone was so nice! I liked everything except the ride home But it was worth it!

I really enjoyed seeing so many groups that we usually don't get to see. You were all great. Congratulations to Garfield Heights! Your show was very good and you exicuted it very well. Beavercreek, your show had so much energy! How do you do all of that and make it look so effortless? To the Carroll kids, you know I am your #1 fan. I LOVED the show! I know the progress you have made with this over the last few weeks. If you keep up that kind of effort you are going to have a GREAT season!!!

Carroll, way to go! Very solid, workmanlike beginning to your season. I thought your effort was excellent. Now, with a month off until your next competition, you can forge the show into what you want it to be. I'm proud of you and satisfied with a good start yesterday.

Beavercreek, well done!! I couldn't believe the energy you put forth after the grueling day you all had hosting. It's so tough to do a great host show after being there since 6 am, but you managed it beautifully. Great start to the season.

Congrats to Garfield and Nitro for excellent shows. Very enjoyable day! God Bless, Damon Brown
