I was wondering, why is this event called a Pow Wow? Usually a pow wow has to do with celebrating Native American/First Nations culture. I have never been to the competition. Is there some theme that reflects this, or is it related to Arcadia's team name/mascot?

*This post isn't meant to "stir the pot"; I have no intentions of starting any controversy. I'm genuinely curious.

Perhaps it pertains to the venue, i remember it being kind of Aztec themed.

But seriously... Who wants to spill the beans on Burbank's set list and or theme?!?!? The picture on Show Choir's Facebook page looks SICK!

We wouldn't want to ruin the surprise for Wheaton, now would we?

My research says 2007 was the last time they didn't go against each other head-to-head-to-head in a competition.

When is the last time that happened? (If ever)

Wow, I wasn't aware that Los Al wouldn't be attending SoCal. That seems strange.

I've heard that Los Alamitos won't be attending SoCal. So this may mean Burroughs, Burbank, and Los Al won't compete head-to-head-to-head this year.

Complete schedule has been posted.

No Los Alamitos at this one, no Burbank at Hart (it's the same day as Wheaton), and none of the host groups at their own competitions, so that means the only time we'll see Burbank, Burroughs, and Los Al go head to head to head this year is at SoCal. That's gonna be a big one.
