I want to say I am so proud of everyone. I feel everyoe did an outstanding job this past weekend. I didn't get to see Thomas Dale, but I hear dthey did a outstanding job. Hanover's mixed and James River were outstanding. Can't wait to see everyone at Manchester next weekend.

I would have been there watching the groups Saturday if I hadn't become a victom of this flu virus that has been going around. However I lucked out that school was cancelled today because of bad wheather cause I get that extra day to get better. Anyways, I cannot wait to see everyone Saturday.

the competition was great and I loved seeing all of the groups perform. Does anyone know why James River's guys group and Lee-davis girls were in AA division while James River mixed and girls were in AAA and Lee-Davis mixed was in AAA? I thought that the divisions were based on the school population. Am I worng?

I couldn't tell u...but it was supposed to b based on population....stuff happens

I was sooooooo impressed with Thomas Dale' show...they really stepped it up......just fix the little stuff and u'll bring it home next saturday....personally I think best vocals should've went to TD and best choreography should've went to Clover Hill (although James River's tap break for 42nd street was off the hook) overall it was good...some of the groups I wasn't impressed with but Matoaka really kept my eye....they HAVE improved alot from last year....I just can't wait until Manchester.....EVERYBODY"S gonna b there and b sure to know u're in for a treat......TD I love u guys with all my heart, I did SUCH a wonderful job and it was great seeing family do well.....u came so close last night and I really think u should've won 1st but it's the judges call and u were in James River territory so stuff happens......but next week u guys will pull it out...I know u will.....Jon-Jon hot choreo....Anthony da tap number was tight....Brinn I hope u feel better u've got a heart of gold and dun let anyone tell u otherwise....joel keep da freakin mic to ur mouth lol....musty stepped up "big time" it was hot.....I liked PH's show too it was cute........Meadowbrook keep pushin and workin together, I love to see u guys workin as a unit and even though u got an excellent this time, with a little reworkin u guys WILL get that superior next week.....the cordless mic was screwed up lol.....u couldn't hear ANYBODY.....for future references guys if u have a solo (cept for Carissa who's in the air at the beginning of hers) and the mics not working o grab the corded mic and keep going....the judges will like the initiative....cuz it wasn't fair to those who had solos and sounded good (especially PH's girl who did "THink" OMG that gurl can SANG) that they couldn't b heard.....everybody work ur shows again this week so it'll b a great and tough comp @ Manchester and so Hurricane HS will have to fight.....much luv, congradulations, and miss show choir like crazy but will not do it @ James River (made up mah mind last night....can't do it) Jay-R

I just wanted to say thank you SO MUCH for that comment about MBK, most people would just down us and trash talk us behind our backs, but as you all can see, we work VERY hard, and for many of the people in our show this year, that was their first competition, so they were nervous! James River was AWESOME, and their opening dresses were too adorable! Well see everybody next week @ Manchester...we go super dee duper early in the morning!!!

thanks showitsellit, you guys did a really amazing job too i hear. i haven't ever seen your show in person because we usually go right after each other but i hear that its amazing. how come nobody ever remembers atlee placing? both times that the rankings have been put up nobody remembered atlee. i was just curious as to why that is. i feel like the hanover county show choirs sometimes get overlooked...

Single-Gender

James River (Best Vocals)
Atlee (Best Show Design, Best Choreography)
Thomas Dale

Mixed

James River (Best Vocals, Best Show Design, Best Choreography)
Thomas Dale
Atlee

No question Hanover Sound FX pretty much killed everyone...keep it up Hanover yall will get your glory! Both groups were amazing...very entertaining...very clean...great vocals...great shows! Every group at Clover Hill's competition was amazing...very stiff competition. Hanover just keep your heads up!

Thank you so much! I'm in both show choirs at Hanover, and we were all a little down last night after the competition. BUT we did get a Superior rating for each choir, and that was something we could be proud of. James River, omg, that was amazing. The only comment I would have was that the choreography overpowered the singing at parts. Atlee, congratulations, your show is amazing this year, and you did well.

Atlee got third, but we had SO many things go wrong with our show, a lot more than usual. Anyone notice when the mic. died for the last soloist?
