My boyfriend who is a huge music buff said that he never thought hed see a show choir perform Whitesnake, i must agree-interesting choice. I still havent seen yalls entire show tho and I REALLY must soon. One thing my boyfriend said tho--right as the song is about to kick in (the last song) yall switch to another song and he was like "NOOOOOOO!" b/c thats his favorite part of the song. Just thought Id share.

Tell your boyfriend it's my favorite part of the song too! Barrack and I tried forEVER to cut it so we could have the chorus, but nothing sounded right. So we were going to use it for our bows...but it never happened...sad day.

Mr. B (Atlee's) JUST arranged our ballad, the rest of the show was done by OUR Mr. B and by some 20 year old guy named Anthony.

Mr. Barrack is such a dad to us...if my dad cussed and made fun of me all the time...

As an ex student of Mr. Barrack *MBK* I think that we got to see the good the bad and the ugly sides of mr. b!! man, those were the good "old" days! he had girls/guys crying, but then there were the other ones who he either pissed off or made laugh so hard they'd start crying! But in the end, we all loved him to death! We really do miss him though, and as we all can see...he's doin a helluva job at hanover

Barrack scares me a little bit.....okay, a lot. but he seems like he really gets Hanover going. I bet Mr. B (Atlee's director) scares people too.

FYI-Mr.B arranged Hanover's music...I was very surprised by that. But its a totally different style then ours.

Ha Monica, I know....when no one remembered we got 2nd and 3rd I was like WHAA?

Hanover's execution is amazing...why cant we get our people to FLIPPIN Execute?? Ill execute them if they don't (ha, im funny)

I need to see James River too b/c I've heard all this incredible stuff.

haha but do such original shows really catch on on the east coast?

That was part of the problem Saturday...they ate apart our show...not "broadway enough", I suppose. Two judges rated us in the high superior range, the third judge rated us in the good range...yea...

the girls or the mixed??

by the way showitsellit, sounds like your directors a pretty innovative guy...few east coast shows have such a broad range of style, most just do broadway.

i wanna see both! especially the mixed tho. but i do wanna c the girls too. especially since my old buddy has a solo.

I was late on saturday so the first group i got to see was Dale's Girls show.....the band let yall down at the begining and then yall got back into it......your ballad was so awesome....and my claire boo got the best soloist! [email protected] watched hanover's girls from outside and i was fairly entertained w/ your show.......especially w/ beatty doin choreo....lol/!....j/k.....JR girls were good as always......as well w/ atlee's girls....great as always....even though i was late great job to JR guys and U-Knighted..........holl@ at yall...........as for mixed.......hmm.....varina somewhat scared me w/ there first song if you can call it that.....um....that was the first time i've seen a mainly instumental number from a star wars movie done as an opener.....or show choir song period....but it did get somewhat better near the end....mbk was a somewhat better than i was thinkin they would be....um.....lets see......PH did step there game up from last year.....good vocals...but it was um.....too too "cute"....but good vocals......L-D....did not like the opener b/c JR did it way better i think last year and at some parts i thought i saw the same choreo....but alot better than last year for both L-D and PH.....good job yall..Matoaca did great as well...they have def stepped their game up and have a chance to become very good in the next couple of years if they have the same and better outcomes the rest of the season...........................................HANOVER SOUND FX!....OMG......yall were the group to get the night started.......yall were awesome and no one who came off the street and sat and watched yall would ever know that it was yalls first year.....your first two songs were great and demanded attention.....loved varsity drag....the soloist.....dang....she was doin her thing....she sounded and looked awesome.....ow ow! yeah! get it!....lol/!.........the ballad was awesome.....then i LOVED THE CLOSER...great solo...awesome!....so great.....and i was def surprised and loved the unending dress changes...def works w/ your show.....Atlee was great too....as always....liked the 2nd number w/ the cell block tango w/ the guys song as a medley kind of....nice...and the girls from atlee looked great as always....lol/!.....MY KNIGHTSCENE.....wow.......yall were awesome....def superior...i love the show sooooo much.....the first two songs were great....shoe shine was great....the tap was very good the other night...the ballad i had tears welling up...it was awesome...then musty and the closer was great....loved it like always! the band could help out a little more but great as always especially since dale doesn't always do the same type of songs every year....great job!.....JAMES RIVER....the whole show was pretty good.....then the closer......i loved the girls outfits w/ the shorts and the matching shoes were awesome........the tap at times overpowered the vocals....but that didn't matter....the energy coming while yall did the tap break was unbelieveable.....awesome......yall were amazing!.......I LOVED CLOVER HILL'S SHOW! AWESOME! yall will have a great time at manchester and will compete for first....amazing...and my dawg w/ his solo on the 2nd song....great....I LOVED THE NOVELTY! IT WAS AWESOME.....LOVED IT!...........great job to CH and Powhatan for hosting a great comp!....too bad it came a year after i grad. but it was great and very well done....congrats to everyone who competed and holl@ at my Knightscene agian for 2nd place! holl@

Our girls were on fire on Saturday, our mixed...not so much. Sadly, the energy of our girls didn't get them very far. About our director, he's always out to make it interesting. He was Meadowbrook's director before us. His shows are always really varied in style. Last year our girls had Dolly Parton, Broadway, Madonna, A Capella, Barbara Streisand, and Aretha Franklin in their show. It was awesome!
