Through talking with Chad the other night, we realized that the "Big 3" for this competition are coming off of losses (Solon, Twinsburg, and Fairfield). I think we might just be in for a little more insanity this Saturday!
About this stream… is it going to be free similar to Wheaton and Milton's comps or for a fee like Bishop Luers and Findlay's comps?
I'll get a definite confirmation on Thursday, but it looks like it is going to be free. I feel like that would encourage more people to watch from home. And, its a lot of hassle to set up a payment-to-website kinda deal.
Gotta ask, anyone reading this thread play Euchre? I've always wanted to get a game of all SCC members going.
If you can teach me, I'll play! Come find me in Solon's room!

2) Since we luckily have so many fine Marysville folks on here, would any of you be so kind to bother your contest chairperson/director for the official Class A/B (Tier I/II) list? Look I'm trying to be a responsible Crew member and stay on top of everything and this is slowing me down.
I'll have more details on the stream in the next couple days. As for the tier classifications, I'll do my best to get those lists!
I get what you're saying about staying on top of everything. This thread has over 1000 views and only a few posts! Haha

I'm totally in. I'll be in the booth all day manning the stream. Come get me and we'll play.
I don't believe this to be accurate definitely since Wapak, and Marion Harding don't qualify for the Tier II.
Neither do I, I was just guessing based on the schedule.
The Tier I/Tier II classifications, I would assume, would be; Tier II (Class B, whatever you want to call it) are the groups performing before Judge's Break, and Tier I (Class A) afterwards.

As it gets closer, it would be excellent if someone would be able to provide the Tier I/Tier II classifications of the competing groups so Crew can accurately add it above.

Alright, time for some predictions!
I don't have much to work off of for this competition, so a lot of this is going to be relative guesswork and shots in the dark. I also don't have a ton of experience predicting show choir competitions, so take what I say with a grain of salt.
Preliminary Awards:
I'm not predicting any precipitation, but I think the sky's gonna be pretty threatening all day, with cloud cover and a bit of humidity, as well as a pretty chilly temperature of around 30° F. Relatively low windspeed, but if there's any, people loading buses and trucks will surely feel it in the chill. If there is precipitation, I honestly can't bet if there's gonna be snow, rain, or that weird slushy disgusting stuff that falls when it's too cold for rain but too warm for snow. I may side with Murphy's law on this one, that it may just be a pretty bad weather day for all choirs involved.
Final Awards:
No huge change beyond the temperature dropping about 5 degrees as the sun sets. If there wasn't precipitation earlier, chances are it'll happen when everyone gets out of final awards, and that it'll be snow. There won't be a lot of it, but it'll be enough for everyone to say "it's snowing!" as if it's somehow news to everyone able to look out a window.
