Is it too soon to know which of the groups from Branson and Orlando 2 will be competing at Nationals?

I can confirm that Visual Adrenaline will be attending nationals!

I am so glad to hear that! Ankeny was amazing in Orlando and I only wish them the best at the National Level!

As of right now, it seems that our admin have cleared us to attend. We just took another vote today. When I find out whether or not we're going to attend I will post on here. If we do attend it's possible that we will have a MUCH smaller group attending unfortunately

I'm SO glad they changed their minds! The "Titanium" opener totally deserves to be heard again!

+10000000000.

That opener, I think, will hold a special place in my heart forever. So unexpected and just so so good.

Glad to hear they're going. Bonita Vista, too. It's good there will be a large mixture of talented groups with their own unique sets, like the West Coast contemporary story ones and the more Midwest traditional style. It'll make for a great competition.

All three of them aren't going? That's really disappointing.

Orlando #1 qualifiers
Ankeny "Visual Adrenaline"
Westside "ATSC"
Jefferson "Westside Delegation" (According to Principal, although still being discussed)

The groups that have a strike-through have been confirmed to be NOT attending.

Any updates in terms of groups confirmed to be attending? Just as a reminder, the top 3 mixed groups are invited. If one of the three is unable to attend, only the fourth place group will be invited in their place (ex. Norwell).

Hollywood qualifiers
JB "Powerhouse" (source)
Danville "Delegation" (source: Danville FB page which isn't linking for some reason)
Horizon "Step on Stage" (source)

New York qualifiers
MTZ "Swingsations" (source)
Hart "Sound Vibrations"
Uniondale "Rhythm of the Night" (source)
Madison Central "Reveille"

Orlando #1 qualifiers
Ankeny "Visual Adrenaline"
Westside "ATSC"
Jefferson "Westside Delegation" (According to Principal, although still being discussed)
Norwell "Knight Moves" (source)

Chicago qualifiers
Bemidji "Vocalmotive" (source)
Center Grove "Sound System" (source)
Sullivan "Singers" (source)

Orlando #2 & Branson TBD

The groups that have a strike-through have been confirmed to be NOT attending. Groups without a strike have not been mentioned in any threads up to this point as not attending, thus no strike. Groups that are bolded have been confirmed as planning on attending Nationals based on the forums. I would assume that Hart probably won't, but no one has mentioned it in the forums yet though.

I see Westside getting 2nd at nationals and Ankeny winning GC and National Champs

Well, I think your predictions are a little off the mark. According to discussion in the FAME Orlando #1 topic, it doesn't appear that Westside or Ankeny will be attending Nationals.

QUOTE (zt@etc19 @ Mar 26 2013, 03:37 PM) *

I definitely think John Burroughs will SWEEP!

Powerhouse is going to be the favorite in most predictions, I would assume, but I wouldn't go so far to say it is "definitely" or will be a "SWEEP!" Especially considering we don't know the judging panel or attending schools and the best qualifier in my opinion, FAME Orlando #2, hasn't even happened yet.

I posted my thoughts about Ankeny just now in the orlando forum. A little late in the game, but every bit as real! lol

I see Westside getting 2nd at nationals and Ankeny winning GC and National Champs. With Wheaton Warrenville no where to be found, Ankeny is the best school in any of the competitions. Also, like every year, there are some schools that really do not belong in any of these competitions.
