Caption awards were only awarded according to daytime scores. Huntington n. best vocal, Laf. Jef best choreo. LAwrence central best band and Laf Jef best crew.

No awards were given for evening caption, but best vocals was HN and best choreo was carroll. Carroll and HN were tied in the overall score but Best Vocals score broke the tie.

Predictions after the day shows...

GC: Lafayette Jefferson... by far.
1RU: Huntington North
2RU: Prospect
3RU: Carroll
4RU: Lawrence Central
5RU: Chesterton

Visuals: Jefferson
Vocals: Jefferson / HN
Band: LC

How I think it will go, just based off the shows during the day. Was VERY surprised by the ammount of talent today! Wow.

Personally I would call it a sweep as well, but technically, Homestead gives a Best Crew caption which went to Belmont, I think.
Also, order of finals is jumbled due to LC and HN soloist exhibitions scheduled too near their choir performances. Oh well, we'll get through...

they were close with north central and BD while always having great energy is not one of the top choirs in Indy (i don't think) making finals at state one yr out of4-5 doesn't make you a top choir. but carroll is definitely having a good yr.
