As an alumni of Tarpon Springs High School, Mr. Charles Cheeseman received his Bachelors Degree from the University of South Florida in Music Education. He returned to Tarpon High in 1981 to start a choral music department and as the assistant band director. Under his direction the choral music program has gained national recognition for its excellence. Mr. Cheeseman was the Tarpon Springs teacher of the year in 2000 and the Pinellas County music educator of the year in 1997.
