MS awards were originally scheduled for 6:40pm PST.
Don't know if that has changed or if they are running behind, but should be around that time.

I am almost positive that Alex Hall and Randy Sage are also judging

I could see Alex Hall judging... but I have a hard time believing Randy Sage will be judging because he's one of the main choreographers at Burbank

so are Burbank and Los Al competing?

Yes. All 5 of the Burbank show choirs and all 4 of the Los Al show choirs will be competing in their respective divisions at the Showcase.

But you would already know that based off of the schedule provided. So I'm assuming you're asking, because Tier I only includes two show choirs? Well, yes. It will still be a competition for placements (either first or second). This is pretty typical for California if you take a look at the competitions throughout the state via the events tab. Unless I'm forgetting any schools, I think Tier I in California is only capable of having five show choirs this year anyways (Brea Olinda, Burbank, John Burroughs, Los Al, and Mark Keppel) and all the others generally choose to compete in Tier II which is still an advanced mixed division. Obviously it's Burroughs' competition, so they can't compete, Brea is on spring break so I assume that's their reason for not attending, and I have no idea about Mark Keppel. Thus, the competition for Tier I is between In Sync and Sound FX.

Apparently there is a new Mixed Tier IV or "Novice" division under the Intermediate division, with 3 groups competing...
