Typically varsity is a group that is fairly new to the competition circuit, small group, etc... While Championship you're able to hang with the big boys.

okkay, just from kids in our show choir, and sometime last month, thanks for clearing it up. we have our showcase on the same day this year =/ we all want to come back though
