Would anyone happen to know if the judges will be using the good ol' cassette tapes for their comments tomorrow? I need to know whether to buy tape players or cd players or whatever else they might be using to give live comments. Thanks a lot and best wishes to everyone competing tomorrow

Casey our judges use digital recorders and you will get CD copies.

My wonderful predictions!

I'm going to say

GC:Fairfield- Vocals, Band? Choreo?
1RU:F.C.-Choreo?
2RU:Beavercreek
3RU:Solon-Band?
4RU:Hurricane/Medina
5RU:Fairfield-Girls/Wapakoneta

Last two are confusing with me, If I can after the performances I'll post a finalized prediction. (If that's allowed?) Either way GOOD LUCK to all performing groups! We may be in store for some great surprises tomorrow!

Predictions:

GC. Fairfield
1RU. Franklin Central
2RU. Hurricane
3RU. Beavercreek
4RU. Solon
5RU. Medina

Fairfield sweep, but Franklin Central has a good chance of taking a caption.

When Marysville went to Pike last year, Franklin Central's vocals were crazy! They will be powerful at Piqua. I agree with these predictions though I can see the bottom 4 switching around. Franklin Central may also take best vocals. Good luck to all groups tomorrow!

I'm calling for a Fairfield mixed sweep.

I have to say I agree. But I'm excited to see if FC can challenge.

Through out my four years in show choir Piqua was always the most fun and entertaining with great groups and great performances. It will be sad not being there. I wish all the best.
Some early predictions and to start the discussion of it.
Finals:
GC: Fairfield (Sweep)
1RU: Franklin Central
2RU: Hurricane
3RU: Solon
4RU: Beavercreek
5RU: Medina
I dont know the full details on if girls groups are allowed to make the finals. Hope everyone has a blast.

It is actually Piquonian.

Here I thought I was making up a name! Can I mention how great it is to see the Lehman Lime Lighters come back in competition? They have been out of commission a long time and back in the day they were a fierce group. Looking forward to Saturday, I have a big feeling many surprises are in store.

Instead of reading the forum I asked the above question. With that being said I am totally rooting for one of the girls groups to make finals. I have really been impressed with the F.C. girls group in the past, and the Fairfield all female group from last year was easily one of the best single gender choirs I have seen since Crete-Monee Faces and John Burroughs Sound Sensations.

P.S. Would have just edited the above comment but I guess firefox doesn’t allow it haha Good luck to all of the competing groups on Saturday!

Just wondering about this. I know in the past F.C.'s girls group has made finals and I was wondering if one of the girls groups has the sixth highest score/ranking if they will be allowed in finals. Only wondering b/c it says "Women's Division" behind both of the all female group names!

Thanks
