Does anyone know if they are ahead of schedule? Cause I am watching pleasant hill on the live feed. They aren't scheduled until 1:10. I am just trying to adjust so that I can watch all of the groups that I want throughout the day.

I just ran into this issue myself, there is a live feed and then an archived feed. When evan posted the feed it is now the morning session archived.

I have quite a few friends in Westside 'ATSC', and if you're one of them don't take this personally, but I think this competition places an extremely great threat to end the 'no groups in Nebraska can beat Westside' streak. I'm not saying that it is a sure bet by any means, but I don't think there's ever been as strong of a possibility as there is here at Wheaton.

My personal list of finalists in alphabetical order:

Lincoln Southwest
Mt. Zion
Omaha Westside
Totino Grace
Twinsburg

I honestly cannot choose between Marysville and Eisenhower as my last finals pick. So in my predictions there is a tie that creates a seventh finalist spot

Buuut really. There is going to be a few groups that will be going home earlier than they are used to doing. In my opinion there are seven definite groups that belong in finals. Then there are a couple more bubble groups that could make a fantastic case for finals with a lights out show.

This has to be one of the most geographically impressive competitions in recent history. (Other than times with an outlier group from Cali or the South, of course). Groups from Nebraska, Wisconsin, Illinois, Missouri, and Ohio. 872 miles from Lincoln NE to Twinsburg OH (furthest east group to furthest west group) and 616 miles from Neenah WI to Pleasant Hill MO (furthest north group to furthest south group).

I would give anything to be there. Good luck to everyone. This is going to be a bloodbath.

Sometimes I read comments on these forums and people just keep digging themselves deeper into a hole and I'm reminded of the Mark Twain quote, "Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak out and remove all doubt."

On the other hand, the 4th place group at Great River (Linn-Mar) swept Omaha Westside earlier this year at Viterbo.

Who do you think is going to win....I'm guessing not ATSC

Best of luck to Marysville and Twinsburg this weekend! Show Illinois what Ohio is made of!!!

I agree! Hope you both do well. I need all of the Ohio Show Choirs to be higher up in my ranking.

I thought that it would be hard to top Great River this year with the quality of groups. Great River had wheaton but behind the top 4 in finals the bottom two havnt won a competition. 6 groups have won GC's in their respective divisions. I think that ATSC and Marysville are the only ones that have won multiple with ATSC winning 4 and Marysville winning 2. Although the caliber of competitions in quite different between those two groups. With ATSC having the harder schedule in my opinion

wow! so im guessing wheaton is a big competition if groups travel far to get there…marysville leaves early tomorrow morning, then spending the day in downtown chicago.
