I saw that the main character changed for the girl part. She was really good!, but was the other girl sick or her part got switched?

They switched soloists from what I've heard. Not sure why though

That seems odd they would switch soloists this late in the season. Not saying one is better than the other but very unusual for a big solo change.

The change was unexpected indeed. It was done halfway through their competition season, but I feel like their show story has really transformed since then, so I am guessing the change was a creative decision by the director(s).

Congratulations to everyone who performed this weekend! Also, major compliments to the hosts for having that many awards (I love having all those different awards, I think it shines a spotlight on all the hard work that goes into putting on Show Choir sets at this high a level!)

(Once again, if anyone has any additions, corrections, or other errors they can point out, please post them here!)

Thank you and goodnight!

As someone catching up on the livestream (so far, watched the competing men's groups and Tier 1 groups - will loop back to the other groups that competed after I watch some of Burroughs' exhibitions), I want to compliment both Burbank and my alma mater for putting on great performances!

However, the main reason I'm writing a comment is to shoutout HLX for putting on a really fun and genuinely inventive performance!!! Thanks to them, Burroughs had three men's groups and two competing men's groups perform! I'm incredibly passionate about men's show choir/a capella, especially seeing what happened to a lot of men's groups post-COVID. I absolutely loved getting to see my first ever high school choir, Xtreme, go up against a group I hadn't seen much of before!

Good luck to all the performers in the late window! [also - insert joke about chill comment thread on an event with CA show choirs here ;)]
