West Jones may be having their most successful season ever. To win (and sweep) 2 competitions in a row in the South is very tough to do. I'm excited to see how the rest of their season goes!

It appears to be a paid livestream. That’s the extent of what I could gather from the livestream link.

When I click the "buy now" link, I see a sign-in box. At the top, it says "Sign in with Google," but above that in grey letters (that are on a grey background, making them very hard to see) are two links that say "login" and "sign up," respectively. If you click the "sign up" link, it looks like you can register an account which I presume is how you can pay for the live stream.

I spoke about my predictions on the latest episode of my show choir podcast! I also spoke about the new division changes and what they could potentially mean. You can check out my thoughts HERE!

First prediction of 2024!

Tier IV:
1- Oxford "Sound"
2- West Marion "New Era"
3- Laurel "Showstoppers"

Tier III:
1- PRC "Central Attraction"
2- South Jones "Company"
3- NE Jones "Gold Horizons"

Tier II:
1- West Jones "Imagination"
2- Oak Grove "Center Stage"

Finals:
GC- West Jones "Imagination" (Vocals, Show design)
1st ru- Biloxi "Sound Surge" (Choreography)
2nd ru- PRC "Central Attraction"
3rd ru- South Jones "Company"
4th ru- NE Jones "Gold Horizons"

If Biloxi wins (which is very possible), it will be their first time ever winning a competition overall. Definitely watch out for them here.

The event page has been updated. They will take 5 finalists.

It also appears Mississippi has perhaps added an additional division. Tiers for this contest are: Tier I (51+), Tier II (39-50), Tier III (25-38), and Tier IV (24 or less).

Split on this. I recognize the need for competitive divisions but also feel like this may lead to a California-esque scenario with small/barren top divisions at a lot of competitions. Jury is out until more lineups drop, I guess.

True, but this competition has finals, so we can still see the divisions compete against each other, unlike a lot of California competitions.
