"California Dreamin'" would be awesome to see! I love the Mamas and The Papas.

I'm not quite sure on one number but the rest I'm quite positive of!

Opener: "Crazy" by Seal
Ballad: "Imagine" (Solo: Nick Laughlin) by (about every artist out there) But it was arranged by Eric Van Cleave and also if this rings a bell for anyone, the Ball State University Singers did it about 1 or 2 years ago.
3rd Number: "Too Darn Hot (Solo: Kyle Eberlein)/Steam Heat"
Girls Number: Not sure but I KNOW it's some kind of Jazz (?) number
Guys Number: "Sweet Dreams (Are made of this)" by Eurythmics
Closer: "Dreams" by Van Halen
I'm not sure if the Girl/Guy number is in the right order, but I'm pretty sure it is.

OI Clark ya wanna help me out on the name of the song? KennyBob tried to tell me but NOONE knew the name.

So this competition was pretty great. Thanx to our hosts from everyone at Northrop, you were amazing. Congrats Fairfield on your GC, and Piqua on 1ru... both of your shows were so sharp and vocals were amazing. I didn't get the chance to see any other groups live, but Marysville... wow... amazing show, just overall awesome.

So what did everyone else think about the groups? I thought there was a lot of talent there, and going off of the screen in the gym it looked like everyone was pretty well prepared for this early in the season.

P.S. - Bishop Luers, from what I could see and hear in the gym your show was soooo great, way to represent Ft. Wayne! " border="0" alt="thumbsup.gif" /> I was very shocked that you guys didn't make finals.

Does anyone know the prelim placings for 7th and on? Just curious where Solon, Poca and Edgewood finished.

i ended up going and poca missed finals by guess this.... HALF OF A FREAKIN POINT!!!...ohhh it was pretty crappy watchin them comin out of their room after they heard they lost by half a point...they had an AWESOME show i thought in prelims for their first performance..it was only one judge that made them miss finals cuz all the others had them at least around 4th place and one judge had them 8 points behind fairfield...but yet as always one person can make ya lose..oh well..it happens..they'll place better next week i hope

I was there! It was such a great competition, wow.

So some Euclid kids drove all the way down to watch, we decided to do this today after practice, and I'm really glad we did - I had a blast watching.

The only group we didn't see (in finals) was Northrop because they went on first and we got there a little late. So instead we watched Solon's prelims performance in the gym video viewing.

First let me say -

Solon - Your show is so polished this year. I was so confused when I didn't see you guys in the finals line up especially after watching your video. You guys were so clean choreographically - I really enjoyed your show, and it bums me out that you guys didn't make the night show .

Wheaton - HOLY CRAP! The first chords you sang in FF were AMAZING. I was seriously blown away by your vocals, they were the best I had heard in a long while. I loved watching you guys perform, it was so fun.

Olentangy - I really was bummed out when I heard you guys had placed so low in finals. I thought you guys performed your show with the most passion and heart of any other group tonight. You guys are a lot smaller then the other groups but you sang just as loud. You guys had so much energy in your show and so much emotion especially in your ballad and it was just awesome. I can't wait to see where else you place this year .

Fairfield - Another great show. The costumes are sweeeeeeet, and I really loved the closer a lot. Ballad was really powerful too. Congratulations on GC you guys were definitely the most polished group tonight.

Piqua - The costumes were cool, and you had a very nice vocal sound, I thought. You guys always have the coolest shoes, haha.

ETC - Show started off really great, but then you guys lost some vocal strength in the second half of the show. Your opening costumes though were frickin' awesome, and Less Is More was really funny, haha.
