Okay, but hear me out.
Has anyone ever, ya know, proven that Clinton doesn't just create robots annually who can complete precise movements and choreography? Because honestly, outside of that, my brain cannot comprehend how they can have such clean and crisp and PERFECT choreography year after year after year for two decades. I N S A N E.

It looked like their tv screens malfunctioned during the prelims performance, so I wouldn't say without error completely but yeah basically 99% robots. They had a lot of lengthy and high energy dance breaks that were just dazzling to watch.

If you look hard enough from just the right angle, you can sometimes find a flaw. Sometimes. I found exactly one, and it’s so nit-picky and barely noticeable that it’s not even worth mentioning. But then comes the question: is that one flaw enough to justify not giving them a perfect score in choreography if it’s that difficult to find? From what I saw in prelims, I would say that taking a point from them visually from that performance is wholly unjustified regardless of whether or not their TVs worked, and regardless of whether anyone else caught the one and only flaw that existed in the choreography for all of three seconds in a twenty minute show. They deserve a perfect score.

My go to comment on seeing Clinton's choreography in person is this:
"They simply move through space and time different."
It really is phenomenal.

Their dance break from last years show during “Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy” is probably the most mesmerizing dance break I’ve ever seen in my life. Their arms just appear in places sometimes. So ridiculous.

OK guys, here's the deal (I got a leaked script for the competition)
GC: WWS Classics - Best Choreo, Best Band
1RU: Clinton Attache - Best Vocals
2RU: Wheaton North Flight - costumes
3RU: Peoria SOUNDWAVE
4RU: WWS ESPRIT
5RU: Decatur ELITE ENERGY

I know there's many shocks and upsets, but the big wigs at Glenwood told me it was time to spice things up, and they wanted to be the next Choral Classic 2013 (something about future ticket sales and DVD revenue? it was really confusing in the meeting. i don't even know who buys DVDs anymore.)

LMK if you have any questions for how this tournament is going to go. They're also planning to run out of concessions during saturday dinner rush (for dramatic purposes) so make sure you eat everything you need to as soon as possible.

Thanks,
Prunelover

I have no idea who you are but you are clearly a nobody. Everything you have written here is completely untrue. How do I know this? Because I AM one of the “big wigs” as you put it, for Glenwood. You are clearly just trying to start trouble and rumors. So cut this crap out - NOW.

This post couldn’t be further from the truth!!!

If you’ve got a “leaked script” for The Event, please share. I’d like a copy— especially since I’m the emcee and have never used one. The only “script” we have is a printed schedule.

“Spice things up”. Don’t we all? It should be every committee’s intention to improve their show over previous years. We are no exception. We take pride in The Event which is why we do so many extras— crowd interactions, giveaways, audience engagement awards, etc. All in an attempt to make the experience for all attendees better. If that’s “spicing it up” we’ll take it.

Your comment about intentionally planning on running out of food is an insult to the dozens of parents and committee chairs that are feverishly working around the clock to ensure there’s a variety of food, easy access to multiple cashiers, installing additional Wi-Fi hotspots for card readers and “standby” plans with local companies to backfill any shortages that might take place during the day. We’d love for everyone to eat and drink as much as they’d like; not for “dramatic purposes” but because we want our guests to enjoy the amenities and our hospitality.

Hi prunelover,
Do you also have a leaked script for next year's Super Bowl, and if so, are you willing to share?

I'm curious.. what do you think show choir is? Some kind of video game with updates? Just saying, "leaked script" doesn't sound very believable from people who have experience with show choir. Also, if you wanted to predict, there is literally a prediction page for that stuff. Thanks.

The tradition of doing predictions in comment sections under the competition predates the cool and innovative tool Haakon added to the website. I also think most people caught the joke considering prunelover's follow up response has now garnered 30 likes :p seems like it's all a misunderstanding!

It's also fun to share what you think is going to happen rather than just quietly pushing a button. Also fun to watch people's heads explode when you put the "wrong" group in second place (I'm no stranger to this), and then there are big long threads like this one. Life is more fun when you have a laugh!
