I think that's the best way to sum this competition up. With just five finals spots open, some really strong groups that usually make finals will be going home early.

exactly

Are you saying that Auburn will be their main competition? If so, I have to ask this: have you ever seen/heard of Wheaton-Warrenville?

Exactly what I wondered. I can see WW taking the whole thing (no offense to Clinton). I think there will be some surprises. WW, Clinton definitely. I've seen SJ and they're ok, but not great. Auburn can be competitive, as well as Tupelo. I have doubts about Petal because I hear their new director didn't use Mike Weaver and their show doesn't look like a Petal show. This just puts a spin on finals. Some groups that are used to making finals may not. Can't wait to go!

Clinton Attache has competition in the form of the Auburn Varsity Singers.
Those of you who haven't even predicted them in the finals obviously have not seen them this season.
-Clinton
-Auburn
-Tupelo
-Wheaton
-Opelika/Impact/Petal

For finalsts I'd have to say(in no particular order):
-Cinton
-Wheaton
-Albertville
-Jackson prep
-Auburn

Although I've heard that they may make it 6 finalists...however traditionally at homewood there's only 5, so we'll have to see about that.

Look out for Auburn

From the recent video of Clinton's Opener and seeing wheaton's opener online I'd say Clinton is the best they have ever sounded this year and I think they'll take Vocals by a landslide.

I really think its simply going to come down to Clinton and Wheaton. I could see Wheaton snagging vocals... Clinton snagging choreography... and either group snagging band. Who will win? We'll find out!
