BotheMusical's attitude and opinions do not reflect those of the current North Central Counterpoints, the ones that are competing at Chicago. We as a group are very excited for this competition and know that it is by no means an easy competition. Clinton will be VERY good, no matter if they lost last weekend or not(who cares if 'the era' is over? They're REALLY good). The other groups are also very talented, and just to be in finals would be an honor.

Please don't take the opinions of alumni to be ours! We DO very much like other people and want them to like us! Show choir is about entertainment and fun first, competition second.

See you at FAME!

^^ GREAT point- every time i see somebody say "Clinton's era is over" I chuckle to myself, because people need to remember these things:

1) ITS CLINTON
2) David Fehr. Genius.
3) Watch their show on youtube- its not as good as years past but its still a CLINTON show
4) What GAsax27 said- They lose close, and then go right back on their win streak.
5) Look at their record on their website- the grand championships they have won is incredible.

Be prepared for clinton to stay, and not go away

Clinton normally goes on long winning streaks, has a close loss, and go right back on another long winning streak. It's a bit too early to say the Clinton Era is over IMO....if anything Saturday gave those kids a kick in the pants to work even harder.

Here are my Predictions for FAME Chicago
GC: North Central
1RU: John Burroughs
2RU: Clinton
3RU: Waubonsie

Vocals: North Central
Choreo: John Burroughs

According to videos on youtube and Hart beating Clinton last night... Clinton's "era" is done.

North Central has beaten Center Grove, Dekalb and Franklin Central (undefeated so far) this year.
No doubt in my mind that they will win.

well, i know now that i will be rooting for clinton that much more after what you just said ... o and as far as the era being done, one 2nd place doesn't cause the era to be over ... way to go making yourself look like an idiot

Well maybe that was a bit much for me to say, but I know that I am not the only one that was happy to see Clinton lose. They are not the best show choir in the nation at all.

This competition will be probably the biggest struggle in the history of show choir... not gonna lie.

I was kind of hoping that IF they lost, that it would be here.

>.<
but this puts it even more up for grabs.

One second place in how many years? An era is not done...Clinton is still the one of...if not the best group in the world. They have a record to prove it. Every group has its down competitions. You know how much motivation Clinton will have to prepare for this competition?, you bet they will be bustin' their butts more than ever after this weekend at Sullivan.

Watch out, Clinton isn't done with.

I totally agree. Their show is still VERY good. Just because they recieved one 2nd place, does not mean they are going to keep recieving them!!! lol. I still think Clinton will win this competition.

Those are the kind of statements that is just going to make everyone else work that much harder; especially Clinton. You may end up eating those words.

Wow...I just said something zingful and I found out I get to go to Fame Chicago/Waukegan/Lakeshore. Two cool things in a row!

Maybe we should decide an actual title for this competition; Chicago is not exactly true, Waukegan doesn't have that ring, and Lakeshore makes me think of Florida(weird Disney College Program story...).

Actually, I think you're meaning "North Shore" - which is what I always call this contest. North Shore refers to the suburbs north of Chicago running up to the Wisconsin border.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/North_Shore_%28Chicago%29

Waukegan, where the contest is actually held, is pretty much the furthest north part of this region of Chicago (it says it's 40 milies - but it's an easy hour drive up there from the downtown loop).
