Thanks to Totino Grace for working with us today! Bloomington Kennedy added this comp as a last minute add after our first comp was canceled due to COVID, and we had already committed to performing at a fundraiser for the Twin Cities Gay Mens Chorus today, but the Totino staff worked with us to make sure we could do it all, and then all this rain turning to ice caused us not to return for finals. From what I know, RIG automatically received 5RU because we were unable to perform in finals. Congrats to all groups who were able to perform and to Hastings on your well-deserved win today!

Did they use Bloomington Kennedy's daytime score for the final placement or did they automatically receive 5RU in finals since they did not perform?

Bloomington Kennedy automatically received fifth runner up in finals as a result of not performing.

Due to weather, Bloomington Kennedy is not going to be in the finals round for this competition, but I am not sure if any other groups have been effected.

Thanks for the heads up. I've made a note to indicate that for Rhythm in Gold. Hope y'all have safe travels home. It looks like, as of now, the other 5 choirs are still performing in finals. The order shifted around a bit, but I've updated it above. Wild weekend. Tornadoes in Iowa. Winter weather in Minnesota. Show choir season man.

Glad that I didn't try to drive out and drive back for this one - that's crazy that another choir in the metro area is leaving. Must be really bad.

Normally in the Midwest when a choir drops from finals due to weather, they are not awarded a finals placement.

Finals Performance order is as I stated earlier:
St. Francis performs at 7:25pm
Bloomington Jefferson is at 7:50pm
Bloomington Kennedy is at 8:15pm
Hastings is at 8:40pm
Bemidji is at 9:05pm
Millard West is at 9:30pm
Company of Singers performs at 9:55pm
Awards are scheduled to start at 10:20pm
