Something about Indy choirs... they are always at the top of their game! Congrats to everyone!

Seeing all these groups today was absolute treat. huge props to both the hosts of event and the hosts of the live stream as they were incredible and offered a ton of great insight into things live. The live stream was absolutely worth the 12.95, even though I had some problems that I could not find a solution to in the last two groups, but I suspect it was on my end.

With all that being said, Zionsville might be the best vocal group I’ve ever heard from any high school, not just choir. They were so incredibly in tune and were singing some incredibly difficult music (including some very detailed chords). And I still wasn’t sure that they were going to win until it was announced, that’s how good the competition was today and I think that on a different day we might see completely different results. Congrats to all!

The last group is scheduled to perform at 10:30 and then the host group has to perform. Could be a bit until we hear anything .

They only announce finalists during the daytime and save divisional awards and captions for the evening awards ceremony.

How much time does each show choir get for set up, performance, and tear down. When does the clock start?

As far as I'm aware, this competition is not timed. This is probably because the backstage setup is sort of odd and can make the process pretty difficult. There's a lift of a few feet backstage that a involves a freight elevator.

I know you've been getting a lot of questions, but do you know if they are going to wait to turn video on until the group is going or if they are just not working at the moment?

Is there any way to get access to the livestream today or was it only available for pre-order?

It's available at showchoir.com/live. It covers the main stage only (Mixed tier I, main stage finals, and second stage finals) and starts at 12pm Central Time. Hope that helps!
