Great first day at MTZ Invitational.

Congrats to Edison Middle School for being named Gr Champion on the Jr. High Competition and also to North Ridge Redcoats as 1st runner up. Had the chance to
see some amazing Jr. High groups tonite. The future is bright for Show Choir.

Everything went rather smooth tonite with only being about 15 mins off schedule. Looking forward to a fantastic day tomorrow.

All I'm gonna say is, "Wheaton is AMAZING!" I think it'll be tough to beat them.

Swingsdad23, Thanks for your very thorough, and concise postings of schedules and other important information for the competition. It is so helpful to those of us attending and very much appreciated. You can tell just by the time of your posting this morning (5:47 a.m.!) that you are very commited to a job well done!

Mt. Zion is always a great competition, this year sure looks to be no different!! Safe travel and good luck to all!

The Mt Zion Midwest Invitational is fast approaching!!

We will begin Friday night with a performance by Mt Zion 6th Grade Sound followed by our Jr. high Competition with some of the most talented Jr. High show choirs in the state, finishing with the host school MT Zion Sound System!

Saturday's comp starts at 8:50 am with some amazing prep and single gender groups. Mixed begins at 1:10. Mt Zion Les Femmes will perform at the end of the day round. Finals performances begin at 8:00 pm followed by the host school Mt Zion Swingsations at approx 10:30 pm.

This promises to be an extremely competitive shedule, with some groups already having won Grand Championships.

Follow on SCC as I will be posting updates all day long!!!

We look forward to a fantastic competition!
Good luck and safe travels to all the schools.
