Thats incorrect Jayson Edgar. Kevin Chase told me the other critique judge ages ago, because he was excited to "be a critique judge" with this person. I'm actually having a senior moment.

I agree with this except I think I'd probably predict Central at 4RU instead of BK. Also, I'd give Jefferson Choreo and Totino Vocals and Band. Jefferson is visually KILLER this year!

Wow! What a lineup. I think the judges are going to have a hard time deciding who gets to compete in finals, let alone who wins the whole thing. It's really too soon in the season to make any sort of prediction, but I would assume that Totino and Jefferson are the favorites. I would also watch out for Bemidji and Bloomington Kennedy. I've loved watching bloomington's shows in the past. The choreography is really innovative, and well executed. I think they could be a group to watch for. I'll be interested to hear the results. Does anybody know who is judging? I think Steve Woodin is one of them?

I think this competition is going to be fantastic. 8 varsity groups that consistently make finals...not to mention all of the JV groups that also tend to sneak into finals from time to time.

This could truly end up any which way but I think the top three (in any order) will be:
-Cedar Rapids Jefferson
-Totino-Grace
-Cedar Rapids Kennedy

And the bottom three (in any order) will be:
-Davenport Central
-Bemidji
-Cedar Rapids Washington

I wish all competing groups the best of luck!!! Bring your A-Game...I cannot wait!

The turn out is gonna be big. Washington and Kennedy will have 3 choirs there so there will be a TON of fans. IC West isn't too far away, so they might bring a lot. Last year Totino and Bemidji brought SO many parents with them.

Basic rule of Linn-Mar: If you are coming to watch groups, get there by lunch time, find a seat, and stay. Go to the bathroom before you enter the auditorium. If you must leave, make sure someone saves your seat or you will not get it back.
