I'm gonna do some predicts that aren't super original after these last few.
GC: GISH
1RU: SF Wash
2RU: SF O'Gorman
3RU: Vermillion
4RU: Marshall
5RU: Aberdeen
I'll give Marshall the 5th-place nod though I haven't seen them this year. Last weekend, Aberdeen's show seemed to be a bit too creative for the judges' tastes. Though they execute it well, it's quite a bit different from the formula the other groups are using.
I also wouldn't discount Chamberlain from the mix. They made a pretty good showing at this comp in 2003, which I'm aware is a long time ago, but they took advantage of an early performance time to set a standard for vocals for the rest of the day. If any small school is going to surprise us and slip into finals, I think they'd be the ones to do it. I always like to cheer for an underdog. Nonetheless, I agree with the general consensus on the six groups likely to advance into night rounds.
Good luck to all groups competing!! I'm sure everyone's going to have their game face on for the end of the season, so there should be some great performances.

So those two could potentially switch. 3rd, 4th and 5th runner up could switch up, but Vermillion beat Aberdeen out in Sioux Falls Washington last week. I also haven't seen Marshall's show. Anything can happen!
I think you're right... part of me would like to see O'G beat ClaCo... but I just don't know if that's possible... GISH is pretty good but I don't know how they compare to everyone else.

I think the first five are set in stone. After having a pretty decent break out year a couple years ago, Marshall has been on the slight decline since. so i wouldn't expect too much out of them. It's possible that the Washington Women could overtake them in the last finals spot.
I think we can separate the finals groups into three sections.
Top tier:
Grand Island Senior High
Sioux Falls Washington
Sioux falls O'Gorman
-One of these three groups will win. Personally I think it's more between GISH and SuFuWa, but O'Gorman could make things interesting.
Second tier:
Aberdeen
Vermillion
-Aberdeen and Vermillion should finish 3RU and 4RU. Probably in that order, but anything can happen.
Third tier:
Marshall
Sioux Falls Washington Women
-One of these two groups will make finals in the last spot. But there will probably be a pretty big gap between them and tier two.
My personal predictions:

1RU: Grand Island Senior
2RU: Sioux Falls O'Gorman
3RU: Aberdeen
4RU: Vermillion
5RU: Third tier... this is just simply too close to call.. but probably Marshall.
GISH isn't cool enough to have videos on youtube (: haha just kidding I have no idea why there arent any of us but there isnt... well actually there are two but there from the beggining of the season and one of the moms recorded them off her camera but ill grab some links for you anyways..
Well finally seeing GISH tonight at Lewis Central I think the finalists will be as followed.

Now if I had to place them now from what I have seen these past two weeks it would go as follows.

2nd RU: O'Gorman/Washington
3rd RU: Aberdeen
4th RU: Vermillion
5th RU: Marshall
AHHH! I can't believe that we Rhythm in Red perform within the last five groups and before some bigger show choirs. I am totally physced to perform in Mitchell this year.
