Hurricane: Wow! Your opener is the best one I've seen Hurricane do. Great job! Casey you deserved that Best Performer Award! You rocked the stage.
Twinsburg: What can I say? The moment you stepped on stage I knew you had wanted that Grand Champion trophy! Congrats on a great Win and a practical caption sweep. I thoroughly enjoyed your show. Congrats again!
Euclid: Light years away from 2004 (Mrs. Ross's first year as Director). I really enjoyed your show. Everything clicked into place and it was very cool! I loved the guys number and the ballad. Opener had some wardrobe malfuctions, but hey EVERYONE has had that once in a show. You guys
Rocky River: I was talking to a friend who didn't believe you'd be in finals. I thought you were really entertaining. The opener was VERY circus-y. Anywho! Great performance and glad you got to stick around to perform again! BTW: I was talking with a parent from your group and the subject of competitions had come up. I didn't know you weren't competing traditionally (like going to high school competitions...). This is cool!
Brush: Well what can I say girls, it was a great show. Had the crowd going after Kara's solo! Great show... keep working at it. You'll do fine. I am so proud of you girls!
Brush - I thought you guys did very well. Very mature tone for girls (one of the most mature tones of the day actually), there were just some pitch issued here and there. Keep cleaning. I definitely like you as an all girls group. I love the closer song by the way.
Aww thanks! It turns out we were right behind Rocky River for finals. We were missing our power house soprano so i think that made the balance a little off, but thank you! We just have some things to work out.
The results actually ended up the exact way I thought they would.
GC - Twinsburg, that was the best show I've ever seen live. EVER. Enough said. No one could touch you. It was phenomenal.
1ru - Hurricane, this is my favorite year for you guys. Your choreography is much improved it's definitely a lot more complicated this year, and the same goes for show design and costumes. I was very impressed. Well executed. I expect more greatness from you this season.
2ru - Euclid, you know there's something about this group you can't help but love. They're not the cleanest, they're not the best vocally. But they have so much personality. It's quite obviously a young group (although they sound is still very mature), but still, they perform (esp. those boys) with this spunk about them that no one else has. It actually reminded me a lot of 2003 Crete Monee.
3ru - Edgewood, you guys really stepped it up in finals. Your performance from finals to preliminaries showed vast improvements. Well deserved Best Combo, that saxaphone player was seriously very good. This is also probably my favorite Edgewood year.
4ru - Solon, you guys were awesome as well. So much energy, and really sharp choreography. The only thing I noticed is that your sound is very bright throughout the entire show. Work on maturing up that sound (I know it's a young group, but still). I'm wondering why you changed soloists in your closer in prelims to finals? I really liked both, and I thought the first one did just fine. Was it a suggestion from a judge to switch?

ok so i just got back home from the exhausting day at Cuyahoga Falls "Classic" rite.. and i'm pooped!!! haha " border="0" alt="laugh.gif" /> " border="0" alt="laugh.gif" /> " border="0" alt="laugh.gif" /> who says "pooped" right? so anywho, i have to say that this was a very very very fun competition and it wore me out, so i'll be quick with my congrats.... so here i go
-Congrats Twinsburg, i knew that you guys would win it. You guys never disappoint me. You definitely deserved to get GC and i didn't even have to see it (though that would have put it over the top for me).
-Congrats Hurricane, ya'll gave Twinsburg a run for their money and i'm very more than upset that i didn't get around to seeing you guys live. maybe on youtube huh?
-Congrats Edgewood, I did get to see you guys perform @ the finals performance and you guys were AMAZING!! keep up the good work! the scoring for us were too close. I know the judges had a very hard decision because we gave them something to think about right.
